Where you get first pic from?

We are just confirming prices on large quantity's of the materials and hardware. We hope to be able to sell the kit for around the €1000 + VAT. I think that unless we can get 100 kits ordered it may be a bit more. All the materials are aerospace quality and the rod ends are Fluro Motorsport which are not cheap. There is nothing welded in this kit either.

If thats right price for whole kit f**k thats very cheap

I'm not interested in the extra lock but what Iam interested in is the pick up points

meh, the driftworks front AND rear knuckles are much cheaper, and at least it is easier to find another lca/tierod end/balljoint (because they are still stock)

I know, hence my reply. That shit looks horribly half assed. "hmm i have this rad idea for a new suspension design, but all i have is this 2 axis mill....."

that is mind boggling.. fully like the moon lander that has 4 wheel steering where all 4 wheels can turn a full 90 degrees and drive sideways.. :D

Couldn't have said it better myself!

How far out do the Wisefab and TDP kits push the wheel out? 100mm??? I guess it's okay if you want to go full widebody or don't mind running 7" rims up front.

For the uninformed, what makes that bad engineering?

compensate for a weak design by adding more material, using 50 f**king bolts per side rather then machining, welding, the parts. an i beam is stronger and stiffer then a solid bar made from the the same steel, a hollow tube is stiffer then a solid bar with the same cross section area. the lca they made could have been made with far less material and been stronger, lighter, and been assembled without all the bolts etc if they had the tools/design to do it. thats why i say it looks half assed. along the lines of 'well it bolts in and wont break, thats good enough'...all those bolts would make it a pain to install, adjust, and maintain compared to something far simpler and neater (like some of the ones earlier in this thread). if they are just prototypes then thats almost to be expected, as long as you can prove the design works it doesnt matter how hard it is to make/fit or how long it lasts, its just a proof of concept. but if thats the finished product i wouldnt touch it....

idk if i explained myself well then or just went on a rant :P

To make the lca in billet would need thickest block and would be so much waste. Bolts will be better then welding they spread the stress load. tho could of change it around to make look better.
There is write up on them and testing so not really half ass

I've got a pair of the TDP billet camber arms here if anyone is interested.

Cost me $350 delivered from Ireland, will sell for $200. They're brand new, never installed. Only 1 pair which I purchased to study.

EDIT: These ones here: http://www.driftirel...ead.php?t=20634

I don't want to buy them, but do they have the square ends that foul on the disc backing plate?

I CBF signing up to the forum - ask them what they have done about that...
