Id be happy to get through the year with no injuries and illness, I had a shit year last year. Did my shoulder, was out for about 6 weeks and then was quite sick and had 3 lots of 1 month off, I only ended up training properly for half of last year!

Goal is set for the end of my 12 week training regime, so end of June 07. Shouldn't be too hard.

70kg lean, with ~8% bodyfat.
Close the #1's for reps, be well on my way into the #2's.
+40% weight to my squats, bench and military.
+100% weight to my pullups and dips.


Get those final 2 abs showing
Stop making excuses

6 Plate deadlift by end Dec 07 (260kg) **ALL NATURAL - NO ROIDS ETC**

Will be judged to make sure it's a proper lift.

Was given inspiration by the gym owner, he thinks that with a bit of effort this should be easily achievable from seeing my current form/strength... Will post up the plan he gives me.

Ok, so I'm new here but just wanted to share my goal:

I've currently got a back injury thanks to my work and the only way I'm going to beat this thing is to start a regular exercise program to increase my strength in my back in tummy muscles. So, as of next monday I'm booked in at the gym at my uni for an hour and a half fitness assessment. Its with a physiotherapist as I have to be monitored heavily due to my injury.

I turn 21 in November, so my goal is to LOOK GOOD and have pissed this back injury off well and truely by then! :) I don't care what weight I am as long as I'm fit and healthy, exercising 6 days a week!

I'm quite a lazy person when it comes to exercise and have never had a solid exercise regime, so this is really gonna test me! :blush:

Thanks! :) Started monday with a fitness assessment etc. My muscles are a little sore, but aside from that I'm doing well! :D

1. 90kg (1.5 x bw) for 20 rep squats, currently 7.5kg off that.

2. Being able to do consecutive sets of doubles from 105kg(90% of 1RM) through to to 115kg (Current *working* 1RM, I.e. after filler sets)

3. Barbell curl 40kg for 6+ reps

4. Bench press 80kg for 1RM

5. Powerclean 80kg

6. C&P 60kg, currently 5kg off that.

8. Barbell Bent Row 80kg for 6-8reps without cheat

9. 15 strict wide grip pullups

10. 30 dips

Earlier on this year my goals were:

1. Eat healthier
2. Cut away the stomach more to reveal abs
3. Flat Bench 100kg + bar x 6 reps
4. Workout longer/to failure

1. So far I am pleased with how far I have come.
My eating is 10 times better than it ever has been which has been the hardest thing for me to do by far!

2. Getting there, still a long way to go to be totally satisfied, but better eating has helped

3. Getting close, so far have done 90kg + bar (approx 100kg) at 4 reps. I'm pretty sure I will make it :)

4. Have been a lot more dedicated. Last year I would only go for half an hour and never really pushed myself at all.
I had no routine, just did what I felt like. Now I have done a complete 180 and again with #1 I am very pleased so far

my goal would be to effectivly put to use the knowledge posted by M&M and the others on this forum

eating better, and working out better - using different techniques

also aiming to be able to run ! i know M&M doesnt like running, but if youve had knee surgery, and not bieng able to run, motivates me harder. so far, i have been progressing nicely
