do this... no more loose bolts... ever
Haha, love it. Tracking it on a rainy day would suck though. Considered welding a 90 degree bend to the tip and expanding the cutout to suit?
nah i havnt had it on the track like this yet. will be awesome to see its massive flames comin out though i cant wait. even if its pissin down on track day im not worried cause that piece of exhaust will be well in excess of 500 degrees celcius so water wont nearly reach the turbo. it will just steam up plus the exhaust is constantly blowing out there remember
if the windscreen gets too much shit on it (doesnt blow smoke so it shouldnt) ill just extend it up to roof height
i even have made a little cap for it for when it is parked in the rain... sounds awesome on my 8400rpm rev limit but!!!!
i used gktech braided lines as well they are awesome worth there weight in gold.
definately get it dyno'd in the near future cause you will run a bit too lean coming onto hard boost.
i reckon mine is just a touch more laggy but definately much more powerful all the way up to rev limit but mines a ca so compared to the sr i guess i would feel the lag more due to less torque from the motor.
some pics of my install (its a ca remember but shouldnt be that different)
after manifold install had this issue
so done this
i run 19psi and it hasnt come off yet so just cut the oil drain like i did
now another problem i faced on the ca is woth the standard turbo the wastegate pressure line is on the turbo itself. i didnt want to drill and tap the s15 turbo so using the BOV provision on my intercooler plumbing i done this and it works a treat
