No it means I probably know more then you though.

How is your real world experience more valid then science plus everyone else's? You sound like a religious nutcase .

Perhaps you should hang the belief system up and research and look into what other people do.

Leangains is a good start.

Good lay article is

Like I said changing from wheatbix to its is not any deal breaker.

i don't think DR C is talking about "deal breakers" from his many posts i read he usually posts up the "best diet" he believes in... now whether u choose oats or weatbix in the morning DR C suggests what he belies is the "best diet".

I like to question what the best diet is.

I spent along time eating shit I didn't like the taste of under the false beliefs that certain foods make you fat.

Most of my clients have done better moving away from it.

Its not just me ;).

You have a great ability to regurgitate knowledge, but nite to do research outside what you were taught.

I was like you once, blind listened to everything i was taught and told at uni.

Of course I do the research, it's all I do...

Your body doesn't see food types it sees macro and macronutrients.

Only your eyes and mind see food types as good .ir bad. It makes no physiological sense.

Got evidence to back that?

I see you have 2 protein shake meals right next to each other.

Do you know whey absorbs at about 8g per hour max when ingested solo. And transit time is what say 9 hours average.

Why are you having another one probably within 2 hours then?

don't take whey protein. But that was a pretty pathetic attempt to undermine me.

Ivy had clients who lived on fast food coke etc. and weighed in excess of 120-150kg.who ate under maintenance fir their weight but still put on fat, switch to same amount if calories in proper foods i normally list. and they lost weight. sane amount of calories.

byte hey what would i know.

So why isn't Michael phelps fat eating dirty white pasta and 1000cal alone in sugar?

Could it be it lines down to energy exoenditure and macro nutrient balance?

No that would be to common sense.

u cant compare a diet of an Olympic athlete on steroid (suspicion or not THERE ALL ON IT) to your every day person
that's just stupid

You listed your diet.. says protein shake as 2 meals next to each other.

Notice where I said macro and micronutrients.

Your fatter over ate. Its very simple bad there is research on it. Its also not possible to eat only maccas and consume proper macro nutrient ratios as I already listed.

Worst argument out forward so far. Your coming across as the expert personal trainer with no understanding of context, common sense, basic principles.

Do you want me to show you people who eat cheesecake all day and are bigger and stronger then you?

Because their macros were out And consuming no micronutrients...

As I already stated.

So set protein 2.4g kg work out adequate fat intake and rest is crabs.

No one is saying to not eat fruit and vege. You are taking my words out of context.

If macros were set and they were engaging in exercise and receiving proper macrinutrients in a calorie deficit then no.

That's not to say it isn't beneficial in either ways.

But when you look at an overall diet and someone eats say a Mars bar in the afternoon and it fits calories and.macros then no it's going to make 0 real world difference.
People need to eat and do to thaw context of their goals and lifestyle. If you sucking hate sweet potato eat rice who cares? Eat white bread instead. What possible difference can it make at all?

People need to do things for their goals, I have clients who dent give a suck about health. I have clients who only care about health.

Point being if you like coca pops eat them. Will it change the world compared to oats?

If people eat 95% clean then of course a mats bar or cocoa pops won't hurt.

but every day it will have an effect regardless of the rest of your diet.

having done a dirty and clean bulk at 5000 calories and i was much leaner at the end duringbthe clean bulk. 40 40 20 macro split.

people are also different in their genetics. Some cab tolerate "dirtier" diets than others.

So we agree?

Foods in and of themselves do not make people fat. It is the over all context of their diet.

So your point is that; As long as someone is getting the right macro's it doesn't matter what foods they come from ? I would agree with that I guess but the reality is that your not going to get the correct macros from a mars bar or soft drink .. Driftkid , what actual advise would you give to OP about improving his diet ?

reases everything..

hes eating

10:00am-- 100grams rice 425 can of tuna in o/oil and vegs
12:30pm- same as above

2 and a half hours later when food is still there he is re stuffing his stomach with 425g of tuna? almost 1kg of tuna a day are we f**king mad?
thats 200g of tuna within 2 hours. 900kcal of tuna each time and not including the rice.

This is an excellent example of it being better to add easier to eat food if your calorie requirements are so high. This is where u can eat something that you want and can fit it in?

Whats your current macros and calories and tdee?
