I was down at the F1 a couple years back the and the owner/builder had this on display. The story I was after going WTF was that it originally was a datsun 1600 but had a unsalvageable amount of rust. While looking for a better shell they measured up a excel and strangely enough wheel base front to back/chassis width was that close that they gave it a crack.

71 Cuda, all aluminum hemi - On the workbench - Model Cars Magazine Forum
Pro street style 71 Cuda work in progress. Made mostly of aluminium and brass, by hand with a mill and drill press(no cnc)
Functional steering and suspension.
