Tripod Travel?

In your opinion is it worth it to bring a tripod or monopod to events where you will simply be shooting stationary show cars?

I don't. Because i'll use flash or natural light. Depends on your camera and how it can handle noise (if it's an inside event/night). If it's a night time event in a carpark etc... take a tripod just incase but try and experiment using flash and natural light and blending the images.
But sometimes it's easier just to use a tripod and a long exposure (depending on light).

Remember that it's always better to have it there and accessible then to not have it there!

better yet, do it all on a tripod and REALLY long exposures, so even if some one walks thru your shot they wont ruin it!!
