Went to the gym today after an hour of indoor soccer, was fairly f**ked before hand as i am kinda sick as well.
just did bench and dips then ran out of energy, no real energy on either.

Bench - was meant to try for 77.5 x 3reps x 8sets today
77.5x2 - realised i had no energy after soccer, dropped to 70kg

Box Squats - had a ruler with me today and found out that the box i had been using was about 12cm too tall, 41cm, so took one of the bases off, 31cm, 2 cm too high, but closer still. Oh and i still upped the weight and made every set.

Went looking for a keg today, no luck, so filled a plastic storage box with handles up with clothes and books, weighed 26.5 kg and did the following with it in the back yard.

about 2 hours after the gym played indoor soccer and smashed b-side's team 7-2, very painful after high rep squats.
was meant to have soccer training as well, but was at mechanics waiting for my alarm to be installed, so only went for half and spent half that time eating KFC.

food today: 8.00am shake with 2 tbsp peanut butter, 500ml milk, 2 tbsp milo, 1 cup oats (waiting on protein powder)
9.10 pre-gym dextrose 30g
gym
10.15 post gym dextrose 60g + protein
11.00 tuna salad with cheese and almonds
12:30 white mocha mudslide dare, some of my mates fries
indoor soccer
2.00 mushashi p40 shake, some of mates calamari, a few fries and half a plate of roast lamb
4.00 tuna salad with cheese and almonds
7.00 kfc ultimate burger meal (zinger burger, chips, wicked wings, pepsi max)
10.45 lamb stirfry with peanut butter and brown rice, milk

lot of calories today and i needed all of them. downing 500ml milk now then going to bed.

Rack Lockout for triceps (instead of repping, i remembered this exercise as having to just hold the bar there for a few seconds on a heavy weight, then i re-read the exercies you've never tried articlle today and saw i was wrong. anyway, i held each rep locked out for 10secs)

WTF over the weekend my squat form improved dramatically without doing any squats. Last i was squatting down and struggling to get back up with 95kg, not using the stretch in hammies to power out of the bottom at all, i have never done that. Today i suddenly started using that technique and sat back a lot more, so much so that i upped the last set to 100 and did it easy even though i doubted i would get 97.5x5x5 today. My technique has struggled the whole time ive been squatting and now that ive learnt how, maybe we will see some gains (fingers crossed)

lol, never thought of that. Dont know whether that was the intended purpose, given that the subtitle of the log that appeared at the same time. either way though, im not sure whether moz2007's training for women would be a better title hehe
