Guys;

I have just fitted a completely new box / clutch system.

Can anyone explain to me how I adjust the rod on the master cylinder (joined via cotter pin on pedal).

Pedal is sprung and seems to sit low although I have not bled the system at all. Currently the master cyl rod is would all the way out so the lock nut is at the end of the thread.

It is the last piece of the puzzle for me to get this thing back to the track.

Dave

The clutch must be bled properly which can be tricky if vehicle still has dampener. The rod adjustment only adjusts clutch free play. Too much free play shorten rod, not enough lengthen. I think, haha. Could be the other way. Adjust and see...

Dampener is the line that comes off between the master and slave on the slave side. It has a separate bleeder and is a u shaped pipe.

Ahh yes.
I removed it and now run a GKTECH line direct from the master to the slave
