You can put my tyres down as Advan Neova 225 wide fronts, Federal RSR's 255 wide rear.

Need new front tyres to go under the 60 second bracket. Congrats callum on cracking it today.

We just used QR's electronic timing thing where you put the sticker on your windscreen.

Hi Octane R32 GTR - Driven by Mark Berry
Lakeside - 55.050
Running Advan A050's, New lap record for Semi Slick's as far as we know :) Still a lot left in it also, the New Suspension needs tweaking and a front splitter would also make a hell of a difference.

Sam you were driving awesome yesterday , very impressive ! Get some Aero on the car and you will be quicker again

We got a time on the Clubman track finally - 59.83 - Link http://www.natsoft.c.../10/2010.QR1.P1

Changed the Turbo after problems with the T518 - got a new Tomei SR but not happy with it at all , car would be over a second a lap slower just from the turbo change - Has more lag and makes less power :(

Thanks Paul. I was very happy with the way the car was going. I was surprised how much of a difference a cheap rear wing made, so much more stable throught the fast corners.

Going to make a front splitter this weekend, then head to lakeside in a couple of weeks.

Went to Lakeside yesterday. Front splitter has improved the car again. I beat my old PB by about 2.5secs.

They were having some problems with the timing system though. Natsoft .
Apparently I did a 58.12 .

From my vid and racechrono my fastest times were 58.27 and 58.21.

Lakeside

Hopefully they will fix the times up properly.

Time Updated.

Top stuff - good on you for trialling a splitter on the car. So much talk but your the first to actually try it and it seems to have paid off!

Any actual changes that you felt ie improved turn in, front end grip, increased oversteer etc Any other changes to make the 2.5 sec improvement?

I'm not the first to try a splitter, Paul has one on the s14, pretty sure Callum has one as well.

The only things I've changed on the car are a wing and the splitter, I went to QR with just the wing, then added the splitter for lakeside. It has just made the car a lot more stable in the high speed corners, the balance is still similar, maybe a touch more understeery than with no aero but with more grip. I think the wing made more difference than the splitter, I was getting a fair bit of high speed understeer with just the wing, the splitter pretty much balanced it out again.

That is only the third time I've been to Lakeside so maybe 0.5-1sec was from my driving, the rest of the time was from the car.

The bar continually is dropping, will need to continually develop my S15 to even get remotely close. That and consistent track time at both QR and Lakeside
