Hey all,

Most would have already seen this but in case you havent its fairly unreal and im overwhelmed with the support ive had from everyone!!

From ADVAN AUSTRALIA

No Australian has ever competed in the Professional Drift D1 Grand Prix series in Japan. Believe it or not, 22 year old Yokohama ADVAN driver Jake "Driftsquid" Jones has been offered a drive with Team Orange at Round 1 "Tokyo Drift" in Odaiba. How the hell did this happen? Read this blog

http://www.advanwhee...ails.aspx?id=63

All Jake has to do is come up with the money to pay for the drive, plus the flights and accommodation. There’s no way he can save up the money in that time; no matter how many night shifts and no matter how much overtime he does in the winery warehouse where he works. So we have decided to help him...

All you have to do is "Like" our ADVAN Australia Facebook Page and we'll donate $1 to Jake Driftsquid Jones D1GP trip to Japan on your behalf.

And here is the Video they made from when we went over... Still think im in a dream haha!!

If you can help support my Dream come true by liking the ADVAN Australia FB page I would be extremely thankful :)

Regards
-Squid

Awesome to see more Aussies getting gigs overseas. Slight correction though, Bolger drove in D1 a few years ago using a Soarer hire car from T&E.

Is there any tv coverage of this years D1 in japan?
Would be good to stream it live instead of watching it next year when it eventually makes it to Fuel Channel on foxtel...
