Ok so most of us will probably know SOME of this as much of it is covered in basic law classes in high school. But I assure you it is worth a refresh and you might learn something that actually you could use one day.

Australian conspiracy theory.

Food for thought: The truth is most likely worse.

The video has nothing to do with conspiracy theories. It just explains what and how the Australian constitution works.

I mean most of us know more about American law than our own legal system. What our rights are and what exactly the constitution affords us. It takes 34min less than the time of a Jackass episode or episode of Duck Dynasty. Do yourself a favor and you might learn something.

Don't be proud of your ignorance.

taking a complex system and trying to distill it into a 30minute video made by some random will certainly lead to further ignorance.

This anti-establishment shit makes me so angry. It encourages the worst in people and continually erodes Australian identity.

I lost interest halfway through the 3rd video.
The person making that video has a clear agenda that they could not make any more obvious if they tried.

The video is less about explaining the constitution and more about convincing the viewer that there is a big money conspiracy happening in Australia.
When he started making silly statements like "the interest on government debt can never be paid back because it is just 'blips' on a computer" i rapidly lost interest. At best that is a grossly over simplified statement, at worst it is misinformed rubbish.

He even talks about a guy who single handedly used the constitution to overthrow a government conspiracy about 100 years ago. If it was as simple as that, then this guy would not need an online video to overthrow this conspiracy, he should be able to do it all on his own.

Very Deej spec.

this is filled with nothing but a collection of arguments that can easily be shot down... as mentioned previously, it is just anti establishment banter... that, in some circumstances, is actually factually incorrect...

there are real political problems in this country but spreading misinformation actually makes the problem worse, it does not 'educate' anyone.

I have to commend that guy.
A lot of people talk that "free man" bullshit and insist that it is 'totally' true, but yet they never put it in action themselves.

This guy at least put it into action and filmed it to show for all at home what that rubbish achieves.

LOL I love that video, that guy is one damn fool. Honestly I think he watched this video without fully understanding it. Not to mention all those refusal videos you see on youtube in regards to check points.

Again all these video are for American law, some principals apply here but without understanding which ones you will only end up the our friend in the videos above.

Apart from the first video I think these guys are cock suckers especially the fruit guy. But they are however upholding their rights which is important.

The American videos don't mean anything here as the laws are different, but they are funny to watch when you end up in that corner of Youtube.

While the original video has a few technical issues, the fundamentals are correct. The constitution is still in effect, and any law in conflict is illegal. However following that thread through all of the courts to win your victory is not for people with something better to do with their life and money. Most people take a CBF approach.

The money system information is also correct. The Government is legally able to make the money for its country, and for reasons unknown has abdicated this power to the banks (which are just a company like Telstra or MacDonalds). A political party that contested the last federal election has done a lot of analysis based on treasury information and come to the conclusion that it would not destabilise the economy, rather act to stabilise it and marginalise the power of the banking sector (which is where all past financial crisis have come from). Yes printing a thousand trillion dollars for a country only worth 100 trillion will cause a 10X devaluation of the currency. The way for this to work is to limit the government by making them spend it into circulation (ask anybody that has ever won $25M on lotto that it takes time to spend large amounts of money) which puts a natural limit on the spend rate. The other nice benefits that can come from this is reduced taxation as the government doesn't need tax for public works or loan interest, not to mention all of the nice new roads we would get as the government spends. Also this was the way all governments (if you call a King a government) have worked for thousands of years until just recently, so it is not as risky and scary as they would make you think.
