nice, yes keeping the carbon fibre straight is very hard, we have 100's of Metres of it at work, and to keep the square pattern is a mission, which is why you pay so much for good carbon fibre products because it takes time and experience do come up with a good result,

You would sand the roof and down the rear quater back to bare metal, put a layer or 2 of fibreglass down, and then lay the carbon fibre over the top of the fibre glass, (you wouldnt have to many layers as it would stick out), but you would defently want at least 1 layer of fibre glass, then the 1 layer of carbon fibre, if they didnt put the layer of fibreglass down then its just going to screw the roof in the end,

paint job would have been brought up to the carbon fibre, and then clear coat the whole lot,

it just a layer of CF on top of the metal panel... it's not just pure CF, you just lay CF+ the resin....the trick is to make it look even and shiny

rrrrr was wondering what the go was with that

still awesome effect...
so in theory if it's not making the car light weight but adding weight, that means it's rice? joking  killer car china.

was the whole car sanded back then resprayed in the lexus graphite? cause i sure do love the effect of the pewter colour and black mixed. iv got a pewter S15 n its not the best colour to work with, is it possible just to add a coat of opaque black over the top to acheive the same effect? im nub so dont know about respraying cars but if the cars pewter arent we 1/2 way there already?
