Looks nice mate. That front bar looks massive though. It could just be he camera angles but it needs some skirts to blend that bar in a bit.

Yea manifold > turbo bolts come loose all the time. I just had to tighten mine today as i noticed "that" noise. Had a look one nut gone and 2 I could move with my fingers.
I'll pull the manifold off and fix it all up properly. It is a prick of a job though.

This is almost exactly the same as what I'm just starting to build now! (minus the turbo) looks great man.

Sorry worded it weirdly, I mean same as what I'm hoping for mine to look like ;)

Slide Industries is all cheap shit straight out of china so I wouldn't even bother. Be the same as your D2, G4s etc etc. BC would be the better option.

Also, if you want your thermo fans wired up, let me know!

Re: tail lights. I bought a set from Nissan for $750-ish around a year ago. I wouldn't buy them second hand unless they were <300 considering what I got hahah..

i was planning the same thing so I'm pretty happy he's decided to test it out before i fully commit haha ;)

IMO with the natural 'flare' shape of the s15 front guards, i think a cut and weld rear flare on the 180sx body would suit it better.... but still keen to see how the bolt ons look!

^^ how has no one realised that "he" is a "she"? Haha.

I was never a fan of S15 front end conversions on 180's, the front and rear always looked too different. I do however love normal Sil80's, especially with bolt ons, like Ziptie or the pommy sil80 she posted earlier (both are on the wall at work). Maybe flares will give the front and rear something in common. Definitely can't find a picture of it on the googlenets, haven't heard of anyone trying it before.

Glad you guys enjoy the thread Posted Image

Missing the manga bar..
May do something on the inside of the bonnet.

Thought it'd be hard to get the 15 front working with old school bolt ons and rocket bunny wing...
may not be to some peoples taste but id like to give it a try.

Flares came, loose test fit with duct tape before prep and paint.
Took some quick pics but parked on a weird angle.

Looks better than expected, but needs a lip or something on the front bar

Actually looks clean like that. I think the rear bar suits the front, but I think biggest thing is the fact you dont have type X sideskirts. Everyone wants them, I've always felt they ONLY look good with type X front kit.

I'd hitup phillb about the guard rolling and lower it as is. Worry about the flares later. I still don't think the flares suit.
