Hey guys has anyone heard of other dashes fitting into an s13. I saw a picture with a dash from C110 looked pretty retro.

Anyone got another suggestion?

Poo browns not all that bad if you can get one in mint condition, The amount of f**ked black dashes ive seen id rather the brown.

It really only suits cream cars though

There is no way poo brown makes any grade of useable.

I would rather use a rattle can and paint sh!t that before I could drive with it.

If it was the only mint one left then I would save the ca$h to get it flocked in black.

do you mean the dash? or the cluster?
i have the stack street cluster in my s14 they go for about 1400-1500. but then you don't need 100 other gauges all over the shop.

also i have seen a s13 with a jzx100 dash

Haha i meant the whole dash. I was just poking fun at fillme's comment. Already have the stack dash with data logger except it doesnt have an input for fuel level :S The only stack dashes that do are the street series haha. As far as making one is concerned the car is going to be street legal so cant be done

best custom dash swap i've ever seen, and one of the coolest interiors in an s13 for that matter, is the retro skyline [?] dash in i believe the 2tone Odyvia.
suss it out, shit is pimp.

Saw a pic somewhere of a cream silvia with brown n cream mixed interior looked great imo. I would only do it if the car came with the colour though as I cbf going through all that effort for an interior....

We still don't know whether you intend to fit a completely different dash, or cut the S13 dash and install a different gauge cluster.
Almost nothing decent fits in the space with minimal mods (S14 is the only one I've seen that would slide in). Even an S15 cluster takes a fair amount of modification to stuff into the S13 dash.

The dash RONE mentioned is a gauge cluster custom fitted to the S13 dash. Virtually every gauge cluster ever made can be fitted this way, it just takes time and creativity.
The rough process is:
1. Skin the dash
2. Cut out cluster coweling
3. Make mount brackets for cluster, or cut out the cowelling from the donor dash
4. Mount cluster/cowelling
5. Apply foam over cluster/cowelling
6. Sculpt foam to shape
7. Cover in fibreglass
8. Remove cluster and scrape out foam
9. Apply bondo and sand to shape
10. Prime, paint and trim with fabric.
11. Fiddle with wiring to make it all work

If you want to swap the entire dashboard, then the ones that fit with a little work are the S14, S15 and probably 240z (the S13 dash fits the 240z with a little work, so the reverse should hold true).
If you want a gauge cluster that will wire up correctly, I can only confirm the S14 and S15 can be made fully-operational.
You would be able to make most functions from another dash work (i.e. tacho, indicators, highbeam, warning lights), but the speedo, fuel and temp gauges are unknown quantities.

If you're going for the uniqueness then i'm thinking you should get a custom dash made which would cost $$$. s15 dash makes the car look newer

Personally, I like the c110 dash the best. A 240z dash would look good too IMO, love the retro stuff.

i have a couple of spare s14 dashes as well as a full s14 body loom and climate control set up so i was planing on chucking all that in my s13 now just to give it a bit of a fresh update.
imo the only thing that ruins a nice looking s13 is the outdated ugly ass dash and general apperance of the interior.
im thinking s14 dash and door trims with either s15 seats or r32 gtr seats, climate control set up ect and using the full s14 loom means i can have all the climate sensors in place as well as use the actual s14 cluster which i like much more over the s13.
Havent found as much as a guide on the install but from what i can find the s14 dash does go in with out to much trouble and the door trims are only a slight tweak to get lined up as well so that put a big smile on my face.
