  9. WOW - What happened?

got three nissans too My 200, v35 four door daily for the mrs and a "rescued" R34 GT-t four door that was most likely going to end up being scrapped for parts

yeah looks very tidy personally i wouldn't do much more in the way of mods, with the way things are going clean stockish cars will be worth more than anything heavily modified. but your car, your call

    easy to get sideways eh
  12. Future JDM classics

too late, prices on the FD3S will only keep rising, buy now if you are really keen. i'd love to own one myself but no funds... What makes you say that? im not expert in anything mazda, but as soon as the whole future classic talk starts, combined with other factors like a lack of a proper replacement, and big numbers of written off cars, demand for clean cars will only start to go up, along with the prices. once current owners find out about the future potential, they will hold onto the cars for longer and ask for more money too.

Oldschool Nismo parts are going thru the roof. People are buying everything up and stashing it hoping to cash in Anything Datsun goes for stupid money, including the stuff that would have been paddock bashed only 10-15 years ago R33 GT-R starting to go up, after bottoming out in the low to mid 20s. Some caryard wants 50k for a stocker with a good odo windback R34's are now selling for the same money as early R35's

Iron Chef have done a pretty good article summing future potential of 90s jap imports... part 1 http://www.ironchefimports.com/2016/04/18/iron-chefs-top-twenty-collectible-modern-japanese-cars-part-1/ part 2 http://www.ironchefimports.com/2016/05/06/iron-chefs-top-twenty-collectible-modern-japanese-cars-part-2/
  16. mines always over, i fill it with 3.7 to include oil filter capacity no big deal
  17. RANDOM TALK SHIT THREAD

Surprisingly good I must say. I went for the povo spec 250gt so it's somewhat underpowered but still fine for a daily. Does about 600-700k per tank mixed city and highway, very comfortable but still good to drive and feels a bit more "sporty" than any fwd sedans for a similar price. I would recommend the 350gt though for the extra poke Build quality is also miles ahead of anything Nissan out of the 90s and a lot of parts are interchangeable with the 350z, eg stock 350z springs and shocks fit straight on for a bit of a cheap comfortable drop (the platform is shared with the z) Rear seat actually useable unlike the R chassis sedans too. Just stay away from the GT8 models. The 8speed CVT box in them is insanely complex and noone in Oz knows how to fix them plus the correct oil from Nissan will set you back about $1200

the S14 has been driven twice in the past 12 months V35 four door daily is the wife's car now bought a cheap R34 GT-T four door, rescued from the wreckers, that will become a future daily. But work in an area where driving sucks and parking is overpriced
  19. WOW - What happened?

part of the problem is probably due to low-ish numbers of the cars left. a good majority have been trashed out, crashed and scrapped
  20. 14 year old tyres are fun in the wet too. i really need some new treads
  21. How close were you

smell of fuel and a small puddle getting bigger under the fuel tank of my old R31 daily, stuck my head under the car, noticed a perished rubber fuel line from the tank to the hard line. it was spraying about 6 fine mists of fuel in all directions all it needed was a lit ciggie butt, would have gone up in flames pretty quick
