  1. hub centric rings

where can you get the hubcentric rings from ?
  2. what u say is true but the 324mm rotors still fit under 16in wheels with regular calipers which is what the question the op was asking talk about misinformation if 16s dont fit over a 324mm then how do the r32gtr with 16x8 fit over 324mm rotors from factory ?! i can't stand it when ppl post shit they have never tried 324mm rotors can work with 16in wheels with regular calipers how about you get your information correct before posting. 32gtr had 16's with 296mm rotors and sumitomo calipers. the 32 vspec got 324 brembos and 17inch bbs wheels. I can't stand it when people have a go at other people when they don't know what they are on about....

  4. nuts keep coming loose

where can i get these different lock nuts from ? jet ,cone, slit type??
  5. gt2871r dyno numbers

by my calculations 412hp=308kw at the engine minus about 37kw in drive train losses =271rwkw sounds about right for your mods
  6. S15 tyre choice

not sure how u do it my rear is 17 x 9.5 +40 rolled, lowered and 3deg -ve camber and my 245/45 rubs still on hard bumps
  7. servos that have e85

i paid about $1/L down in sydney when i got it
  8. lakeside open track day

last time i was at lakeside they did static and dynamic sound level tests.. had to be under 90db under both tests. bcos of the wankers deliberately goin off throttle as they went past the sound meter on the track ( to bring the noise level down) they opted to secretely move the dynamic noise test around the track so this wouldnt happen and u wouldnt know where the testing was taking place would love to go to lakeside again now the s15 is completed 270rwkw would definetely be a handfull there
  9. Best Legal Exhaust for S15

ces dump pump, high flow cat, trust pe2 only 86db at 4000rpm
  10. same thing happened to my modified s14 5yrs ago brings back memories. insurance paid me out.. but i didnt have all my mods listed so got a crap payout. lesson learned now insure for an agreed value used the money and got an s15 the mth after i remember i opened the oil drain and 10L of oil/ muddy water came out ! car was a repairable write off ... sometimes i still wonder if someone bought and salvaged it
  11. i can't believe the bs ways ppl are talking about to monitor your oil especially the above. if your oil doesnt exceed 82C on a thrash and hot day, u aint thrashing it hard enough. run your car on the track on even a 25C day and oil temp will hit 120+C if u drive it hard enough. on a 35C day even with a massive fan on top of a 19 row PWR oil cooler my oil temps can hit 140C only way to know if your oil is gone is to send your oil to get it analysed chemically eg oil analysis just cos your car turns noisy after 1000km doesnt mean shit either Sorry mate, we'll agree to disagree. My car would NEVER EVER hit 120C on a hot day with fresh RP. In fact the most I've seen it up to is 110C with the oil I used to use. Maybe you need to run another oil cooler, how efficient can something be hitting 140C?!! Either that or your oil temp sender isn't in the right position! You are right in saying that getting things chemically tested would be the most accurate way. However, I know my car, everyone knows how it's driven which is why I change the oil every 2,000kms. There is other no possible explanation for temps rising except for a change in the oil if no other variable has been added into the equation. PJ to put that in perspective i think my oil cooler works just fine. on the street oil temp never goes >85C .. on the dyno even with repeated runs back to back oil never goes >100C yet on the track with hot QLD day think 35C 85%humidity blast it around the track.. even with brand new royal purple oil it will hit 135+ C but as soon as u back off on a cool down lap oil temps drop dramatically back to say ~110C i've tried shell ultra, valvoline synpower,mobil1, royal purple, castrol edge and shit gtx. makes no difference to oil temp prior to oil cooler being installed oil temp can hit 148C and stays a lot higher for longer even on cool down so the question u want to ask is how well is that oil working at protecting your engine at high temp i change my oil after just about every track day being obsessive.

  13. Amsoil Oil

how did u know that it broke down really easily... visual inspection ?? did u send your oil for a proper analysis ?
  14. can u get any kumho v70a in ??? is it possible to pick up as i'm local in brisbane ?
  15. HUB CENTRIC SPACERS!

another dumb question.. sorry i've got extended wheel studs already on the fronts but with the new wheels and a 7mm slip on spacer there is only prob a 3mm gap between the tyre and coilover. was thinking of getting a 15mm hubcentric spacer but would i have to take out the wheel studs off the hubcentric spacer since i already have extended wheel studs?... or do i take the extended wheel studs off the car and put the spacer on.... i would rather take the studs off the spacer and just bolt it on... thx
