  1. shoudl i respray it in different colour?

thanks Vu, i will come down to your panel shop later today mate Joe
  2. shoudl i respray it in different colour?

Thanks mate. The R34 was my old car..... had been good, sold coz got pulled over too much when i had my P plate back in 3 years ago. For the civic, the problem is the front bar and the rear bar's paint job pealed off, so i think a detail won't help. i will go to see Vu tomorrow to see how it goes. And yes, i think a respray may look like there is sth to hide, that's what worries me. Joe
  3. Hi guys, i am helping my girlfriend to sell her 2000 dark green honda civic coupe, the thing is although it is a accident-free vehicle, it has many many many scratches and a couple of small dents, so we design to repsray the whole car before selling. But should we respray it green or paint it to some more popular colours like black? of course i am not going to do the engine bay as that is going to cost a fortune, so will u guys choose to do the original green colour or black w/o doing the interior (black exterior with green engine bay and door frame may look abit doggy)? cheers JOe
  4. changing of cluster

That is a good idea... we will keep the old one... but just don't want to get questioned by vicroad, that's all Joe
  5. changing of cluster

then how about when he sells the car and the odometer is much below then before? coz the digital is like to have only 30,000km and we don't want to attempt to do anything doggy...... Joe
  6. changing of cluster

Hi guys, just a quick question to ask, my housemate is going to upgrade to a digital s13 cluster to replace his original one but the km is going to be less than the original one, just wondering what do we need to do to tell vicroads? write to them just a letter? got a form to fill in ? or we don't need to tell them at all? cheers Joe
  7. hks SSQV

haha.. i think 400km is not too bad for a modified car already.... And i think u can get the ecu remap or sth? Joe
  8. hks SSQV

haha.. Johnathan....how does it go man? The back fire and rev thing is very common after fitting any BOV ,....... U can have a look here.... http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...ff+valves+power Some cars they will be pretty obvious. But i heard Jap spec, the ecu can learn better than AUS spec... A tuning will fix that one. Joe
  9. hks SSQV

I think i will buy morph's point... the stock bov do leaks a bit....coz i think that is not only the sound as i read from the boost gauge, when using ssqv, the boost read higher.... Joe
  10. hks SSQV

Hi guys... I know there are a lot of topics covering bov and i read most of them.... My car is a s15 got FMIC, apex pod filter, turbo back, thumb pipe, boost controller...all those bolt on shit. Last week I installed the HKS SSQV Bov and of coz i got those backfire, low rev problem as expected. I understand that is due to the AFM problem. but anyway, after a while, i think the pitch is too high which made my ear unhappy. So, i changed it back to the stock pump back. But I found that the car feels slower, I am running 1 bar boost. Do u guys think that is coz the ssqv hold boost better? or coz the car runs richer when it had the ssqv? Joe

  12. moving to melbourne

Prahran is not bad a place to stay. Used to stay there. But u got to watch out to find a place with decent parking spot or even garage. as most of the apartments or even house there are not very very secure for a decently modded cars. Plus. avoid driving on chapel street ....... especially near jam factory area. You will have aroound 80% got pulled over and defected. Joe
  13. That is insane

    It's worth a look http://www.gizmag.com/go/8013/picture/37777/ Joe
  14. Road Worthy Certificate

especially when the car is tuned I reckon.... He tuned the safc and avcr .... after removing it the car will feel different..... so it's point very hard to decide
  15. Road Worthy Certificate

Hi all, my mate is selling his 180sx soon, the problem is the buyer requires him to provide RWC, His whole car is fine, tyres, brakes are good but the problem is he has the FMIC, BOV, aftermarket steering wheel, gauges, avcr, safc and the mechanic asked him to sell the car w/o RWC coz he doesnt want to risk his "RWC tester" licence I am just wondering when u guys seliing modified cars, do u guys usually sell with RWC? cheers Joe
