my mate bought maxxis buckshot mudders yesterday, faaark they are cheap in 33x12.5, for his gu, his brother bought 33x12.5 bighorns for his gq wagon. took the gu out last night for a mud thrash, hardcore tread, killer tyres for the pricetag.
  2. Fishing spots in Adelaide

went to goolwa for the first time down to the mouth nothing in the surf but caught a few salmon trout in th ecalm water, fast eddie not bec
  3. What would you do?

Joel I have no idea I didn't ask but yes its retarded damage esp when not in rear wheel lol
  4. What would you do?

LOL not everyone on here is going to be able to tell from those pics. I know I certainly wouldn't if I didn't have someone around me who knows more about that than me. I'm glad you can you get a gold star
  5. What would you do?

Haha there was no way I was going to pass that idea on anyway Like you said pics on a public forum My partner is a panel beater and he has said the quote wouldn't be far off it might be a few grand less but not a huge difference. Its also hard to tell from the pics how much damage there is under the car. I think I'll pass on that his best option is to strip it. Although I will call Peter, Steve can you please send me Micks number I don't have anyone's numbers any more because my phone broke.
  6. What would you do?

Haven't seen him in years and don't have his number but if anyone does then feel free to pass it onto me
  7. What would you do?

Yeah Eddie thinks the quote wouldn't be far off what his work would charge...eeep He isn't in the 'car scene' so doesn't know the right ppl and isn't THAT into cars which makes things harder. I don't think there is an easy fix in this situation unfortunately. The loan is going to be there no matter what so the main thing is getting some money back on it to help pay it off and get a cheapie run about or fixing it without taking out another loan and ending up in even more debut! Peter? If so ask him how much he would offer (once I post pics of course )
  8. A work friend has asked me to do some research for him as he doesn't get on forums about his WRX. I will have some more information tomorrow but this is what I have so far... He has done a fair amount of suspension damage to his wrx, hit a gutter and needs all new axels both sides, front and back. There is a bit of panel damage as well. Don't ask how I have no idea. The car is not drivable and he has left it in storage in Canberra as he has moved back to Adelaide for work. What is the best thing for him to do with it? I guess money wise... He bought it with a car loan and has a lot still to pay off on it. His insurance ran out and the reminder was sent to his old address so no he does not have insurance (silly yes). A) Should he get it transported back to Adelaide? And do you know of anyone that will transport a car that doesn't drive? Should he sell to a wrecker in Canberra and get at least some money back for it? C) Sell for parts? How much is everything else worth? D) Fix it? (he has been quoted 16k+) not what I would do E) Get a new shell and reshell it? These are all options he has been considering but has been so busy with the move and work he is unsure which is the best/cost effective way to go about it. Just here for some advice as I am not the expert on WRX's. I'll put up pics of damage tomorrow along with more details like year etc Thanks

  14. TIME FOR SOME PROPS TO AN EXTREEMLY HELPFUL

I missed it the first time down the street but saw it on the way back. The sign is approx the size of an A4 piece of paper, white with Blue logo. Its on a fence, its on the right just near the bend that your drive through to go straight down the road (if that makes sense).
