  1. Thought id do some research before mine lands in Aus. Ive heard mixed reports regarding the Power FC, HKS fcon v or similar management. Now some people have been telling me they use the Power FC on the 100, however i have heard of stories that they cause some problems. I have also heard that the HKS fcon is a better option but not many workshops in AUS can tune them.... What other options are there? and which of the above would best suit a stock jzx100 with minimal mods i.e. front mount and exhuast Cheers
  2. Steve Aoki puts on a really good set. i saw him last October when he played at Hotel Richmond. the guy is crazy
  3. Since he was areested they would have set him a court date and released him on bail, he wont lose his license till his court date a few months down the track yeh and in the mean time he can go around and do more skids
  4. The guy didnt lose his license. only got his car impounded for a few days. Im also thinking its a political stunt - theres new legislation going through after the election to give police the right to take a license away on the spot

  25. Some good news for SA Motorsport!

From Adelaidenow: DRAG racers will have a legal venue for thrashing their cars with the planned development of a motorsport complex at the old Mitsubishi site at Tailem Bend. The former Mitsubishi test site also will cater for driver training and automotive testing under an agreement just signed. A consortium, headed by the Sporting Car Club of South Australia and Motorcycling SA, has entered a Memorandum of Understanding with the land's owner, Coorong District Council. Racing would be organised and supervised by appointed officials and would not be at the whim of individuals. The 690ha triangular site, created by the junction of the Dukes and Mallee highways just east of Tailem Bend, already has a 1.6km bitumen strip, a skid pan and some off-road/dirt track courses. WILL THIS REDUCE HOON DRIVING ON OUR STREETS? Have your say in the poll to the right of this page and in the comment box below. DOB IN A HOON: Join our Hoonwatch campaign and help us identify Adelaide's hoon hotspots. Existing facilities can be used for sprints and motorkhanas from early next year, once race venue licences are approved. The plan is to add facilities and tracks for bitumen circuit racing, drag racing, drifting, super motard (motorbike racing that has tarmac and dirt surfaces on each lap), motocross, rallying and endurance events. The cost of the plan is unknown but insiders admit it will be at least a "multi-million dollar" investment over several years. A comprehensive feasibility study is the next step and will include feedback from car and motorbike sports clubs offering suggestions. The complex will be used for driver training as well as testing of motorbikes, cars, commercial vehicles and even machinery. Sporting Car Club spokesman and race driver Lyn Punshon said there was a need for more motor sport venues across Australia. "SA can take a position of leadership when the Tailem Bend motorsport facility comes on stream," he said yesterday. Coorong District Council bought the land when Mitsubishi ceased manufacturing cars in SA last year. It called for expressions of interest in April, with an eye to economic development. Mayor Roger Strother said he was excited about the motorsport facility. "It will bring enormous economic benefit to the district and put the Coorong District Council on the map with national exposure," he said. The Sporting Car Club claims to be the oldest motorsport club in the southern hemisphere. It is an experienced promoter of motorsport and has among its 1800 motoring enthusiast members many volunteer officials, competitors and respected business brains. The project has the backing of the national governing bodies for motorbike and car sports respectively, Motorcycling Australia and CAMS. Motorcycling SA president Ivan Golding said the Tailem Bend project would provide substantial benefits to motorsport. CAMS chief Graham Fountain said the project also could be used for youth development programs. The Tailem Bend project is ahead of a proposed Gillman Motoplex, which has stalled because of an inability by the developers to secure the land from the State Government.
