And also got my Aftermarket Industries fuel cell all fitted up, actually redesigned the rear section of the car to build the fuel cell mount. Containing a fully baffled cell with surge area, and 3 walbro 460lph pumps its sure to be enough fuel demand (3rd pump is a redundant pump for trouble shooting and backup controlled by the haltech)

relax relax, its not getting parted. The party is just getting started! Myself, my team mate and a close friend who is a qualified auto elec finally bit the bullet and we moved into our own 200 Square Meter workshop about a month ago. Pretty sweet deal, tonnes of storage space, mezzanine for parties and a seperate room with some lounges, kitchen, beer fridge etc. Still waiting on a good deal to come up for a hoist tho! Asside from that my full Origin Labo order turned up including full racing line kit, 30mm front guards to match the 50mm rear guards, and my silver carbon bonnet. And further more the car just got finished today at SDR motorsport getting its rollcage fitted, pictures speak for themselves on that one. Tully is the man to talk to there about getting any fab or cage work done. Absolutely incredible work! Ph 02 45778862 SDR Motorsport

bloody sideways pics, sorry guys Front end fab all finished except cooler pips, and mounting fuel reg, oil cooler and re locator. Been some work in the rear aswell, new fuel cell brackets made and new Aftermarket industries F1 fuel cell has been delivered and fitted. Just need to get some decent pics

Engine clutch and box all in, was a massive fight between the aligning the twin plate by eye and taking a few go's to realize the spigot was too long and bottoming out before i could get box on all the way. But i got there. Quick visit to speedflow, had them make me up a custom bleed line for the quartermaster hydraulic slave. and also got the clutch line made up while i was there. Picked up a universal 3/4 clutch master aswell and a few quick mods to that had it fitted.

Genuine Origin type 2, 50mm guards From savanah motorsports in SA, really really good to deal with

Been busy! quick summary, box didnt fit, also new engine mounts stopped the engine from fitting aswell. so made new engine brackets, cut out the tunnel, made a new gearbox mount on the body for the gearbox crossmember (mounts to chassis rails now.) And built a new tunnel. about 30 hours work in 4 days ontop of a full time job just to get it to paint on saturday morning. Which was a success! photo bomb

Engine build is all finished at Advance, Sam and George did a killer job and an awesome price sorting the whole thing out. Gave me heaps of advice and guided me through the build. Heres some pics, waiting for the last few with the installed nitto oil pump and sump back on.
  9. FAIL FAB

haha yeah i know it wasnt you man, i got it from the guy you sold it too. i picked it up at midnight after a 10 hour drive, noticed where the gate was sitting and just thought f**kkkkkkk.

Finished the rear chop up over my last few days off, finished installing the last of the rivnuts aswell. Made up a handy little storage wall aswell. These kits are on sale for $6 at bunnings atm! you get a sheet of the hanging plate, 4 green buckets and 2 red buckets in each kit. Buckets are usually $6 each and the hanging sheet $35! Killer saving and works a treat. I just mount a piece of ply to the wall and then the hanging sheets to the ply. And rigger up a ghetto shifter, 25x8mm bar stock... honestly cant think of a better way to do, got to center the shifter back up over the box. Someone said they were worried it would bend with hard shifting but i dont think so.... Thoughts?
  13. FAIL FAB

This is the abomination that the previous owner of my car replaced a cracked genuine trust t78/rb26 manifold with.... just f**k me, it had a single turbosmart 50mm gate welded on halfway along runner 6, and sat up between dump pipe and the head, they had to squash the dump pipe almost in half for the gate to fit. Would have told the guy how much of a f**k head he was if i didnt want the car so bad

Finally got talked into selling up my power fc and AFM setup, and just picked up Haltech PS2000 with full rb26 loom and a racepak dash. Was going to buy a stack dash anyway and i picked all this stuff up super super cheap. basically the cost of a dash after i sold the power fc and afms. Haltech PS2000, custom loom for RB26. 5 bar map sensor, intake air temp sensor, oil temp sensor, oil pressure sensor, stand alone harness with fuse box incorporated with a racepack data logging dash Just a quick copy paste there, boost controller built in and stuff. Pretty happy with it, even tho i didnt really want to do it. I will be keeping a spare sensor for everything in the toolbox for the track, And whoever tunes it will be teaching me the ins and outs of it so i can figure out whats going on if its acting an asshole at the track. Also engine bay paint soon, and a heap of engine bits coming so it can go back together. Cant wait for Tax time
