  1. Is Chrome shit?

do a speed test on the internet connection using your phone and your computer. that will help to eliminate the network from computer problems. I find both FireFox and Chrome use heaps of ram, the more tabs open the worse it gets, the longer the session goes for the worst it gets. I'm talking like days here with multiple tabs open, or watching lots of yt stuff in new tabs/closing them ect.... I also use pinned tabs and find the initial loading of the pages to chug the computer. but internet is fine being about 10Mbps on average. of course, other programs use resources as well, so you can't rule out just the browser as well.
  2. asus laptop problem

are you using the device manager to update drivers? sometimes they don't really find the latest drivers. One program I've found that's free, but is good and works is called SlimDrivers. I compared the drivers with manufactures website, and it was probably 98% correct. the other 2% was an update out. Give that a go, if that does not work, it could be hardware, but the next step should the drivers not work would be a reformat to rule out any software/driver conflicts. if all that fails, then it's probably a hardware fault.
  3. PS3 issue

have you tried these options? http://www.wikihow.com/Sync-a-PS3-Controller
  4. Watch Dogs

The graphics are pretty inconsistent. Some objects look great then others have some really bland textures. hopefully if it's only textures, they can patch it to fix it. I haven't played the last few rockstar open world games, but I found texture inconsistencies among many of their earlier stuff (everything before GTAIV) I guess it's a side affect of a long project with large worlds.
  5. Watch Dogs

that's very sad to hear, it looked very promising on the video's....
  6. Queensland Fire and Rescue Service

try the qld section for more specific answers.
  7. things that annoy you

so when you say "no one" and "government", it was limited to your state while talking about a national issue on a national site in a general sub section not state specific, we are only to discuss the state you currently reside in as examples of "everyone" and "government".
  8. things that annoy you

you must live in a small world not to have noticed the government talks and public discussion going on regarding bike lanes, wakl/bike paths and share the road campaign that's been going on over the last few years. I admit that SA has more of this due to the tour down under, but QLD are leading the states in regards to trails and laws for sharing the road. I've highlighted the words that summed it up perfectly, "talks" and discussions" are all they ever do, they've not actually taken any preventative measures except a few lousy add campaigns. They don't even enforce the simplest of rules for cyclist to make them more visible, that is of corse to make it compulsory to wear high vis vests. In other comments, I totally agree that we need to separate the weekend BMX rider or mountain bike rider to the street cyclist. Either way something needs to happen because with the current situation they are at serious risk of injury, I would have thought it to be common sense to not have cyclists ride along with machines and vehicles that could kill them in an instant.... it just makes no sense.... oh so the green cycling lanes, the bike paths that connect POI's around adelaide, the trial laws just got implemented this week in Brisbane with Adelaide soon to follow, public feedback on government proposals (this means if no objections, they will action it) for new bike lanes that is divided from the main roads by a barriers don't count as preventative measures? ok then

  10. Where to get music on Android

Just so you know, you can connect to pc with a usb and click and drag songs like you would a usb hdd. It will play flac, mp3, mp4 and other common file types.
  11. I'm finding the feather blades best as well. The astra blades have given me the worst cuts, where the feather blades have not seriously cut me yet. I think they are just slightly more flexible/forgiving while still giving a quality shave.
  12. Hahahaha! Nah, definitely wasn't me f**k he must have done some damage to get cysts happening though! wtf is toner? sounds an awful lot like something to do with makeup.... fag.... oh that's the line? ohh a toner! well the definitive line is when you've got your cock in another man's arse, but i think if we're talking makeup in a shaving thread, perhaps that conversation isn't far off you free tonight?
  13. try both *milkshake* I don't like balm as it can leave a residue as it dries. I've just gone to a toner... I don't know how it compares to lotions or balms but I don't get as bad red spots as I did before. wtf is toner? sounds an awful lot like something to do with makeup.... fag.... I've been there as well. Never on my rear, but it makes your nuts sting. The pain was similar to the multiple pass with the double edge, tbh oh that's the line? ohh a toner! I didn't know what the f**k any of this shit was before I met my g/f, then still didn't until I started shaving with a DE shaver. Basically a Toner is what you put on your face after using a cleanser (face wash) post shower that keeps the pores clean while they close up. I wash my face daily with the cleanser, once a week with a scrub then use a toner post shower every day. It's really helped me control my ache around my face and neck... I have weeks go by where I only have one or two pimples showing up... much better then always having half my face covered like it was before. Most after shave lotions are just a toner anyway, but often contain more alcohol that causes that stinging feeling. But toners don't seem to dry the skin as much as lotions do. Balms often have an inbuilt moisturiser... I have another moisturiser that I use sometimes when I feel I need it as I don't like the feeling they leave afterwards.
