  1. Got a problem. My car gets stuck in gears alot, while driving is fine. But when im doing stuff that require alot of playing with the clutch like reversing or car park stuff it gets stuck in gear and the clutch wont disengage even though im fully pressing the clutch down. Feels like when playing with fricton point then pressing the clutch in, the clutch wont disengage and will cause the car to stall, also when im at a set of lights it is very hard to get into gear unless i rev the engine and rev match it. Clutch and Gearbox were replaced less than 6 months ago. Nissan 180sx S14 5 Speed Exedy 5 Puck Things we have done already. -remove clutch dampner -replace clutch master & slave with brand new items. -braided clutch line -pedal adjustment -checked clutch fork -pulled box and sent clutch off to get inspected by exedy which came back as all good. -have bled it an uncountable amount of times.

  7. hey guys never actually tried adjusting camber myself before an kind of confused with the spl ones as it looks like they have some sort of collar on them.. I know the general idea is to crack one nut then wind the other.. but what's the collar for? am I supposed to loosen it or leave it? pics attached for reference thanks guys.

    copy and paste tune were my thoughts exactly. I was warned about this certain tuner by many, but I didn't think someone could f**k up a basic tune so badly, and they supposedly have a bad reputation for blowing motors and doing shitty tunes. apparently my afr is reading 10.5:1 not sure if its just an old tune paper he showed me and slapped my number plate on it though. going to take it to a more reputable tuner and get a dyno run to see what the f**k is goin on.

    180sx with s15 aus spec motor standard s15 coilpacks BCR7E plugs with .70 gaps haltech ecu tuned for 200rwkw with standard bolt ons not sure what boost it's tuned on tuner wasn't very informative but have seen it spike up to 20psi when I flat foot from low rpm in second gear it will misfire around 4k if I roll on throttle slowly in 2nd it will miss at around 5-6k rpm. after misfiring it seems to run on 3 cylinders for a few seconds then return to 4. sometimes it will miss with backfire out my eternal gate sometimes it will miss without backfire. first gear always happens around 3-4k rolling on throttle or not. have tried new plugs and different sets of coilpacks. thanks guys

    my has the car same problem tried 2 sets of diff coilpacks and changed to new sparks but the standard NGK 5 dorrah ones. should i get better plugs? been happening since day 1 getting back from tuner, all its tuned for is 200kw with standard bolt ons S15 motor. at first car would seem to missfire under WOT trying to get to high boost then seem to run on 3 cylinders for a few seconds then return to normal, after changing coilpacks and spark plugs, it now seems to miss and then loud backfire would come out of either my screamer pipe or exhaust, what have i done here? i hate trying to diagnose

    thanks for all your replies guys, VERY helpful! searching online and all I could find was a couple of threads, but this explains a lot! looks like I'll be getting custom braces then seeing as my car is quite low and will need the wheels clearance.. thanks again guys! appreciated!

Hey guys, so as most people will know, s13's and 180sx have flimsy as f**k wheel arches and crack after running coilovers/stiff suspension over a period of time. mine has started to crack and i want to get these welded up ASAP. what would be the best way to go at it? Inside the bay? from the wheel arch? i also read that fender braces would help a little to stop this from happening so thats on the list of things to buy. any help appreciated! cheers!
