  1. Samsung Galaxy S II

Same thing happened with mine, this is what i did: Settings > wireless and network > Mobile networks > Access point names > MMS (should be at the bottom) > Authentication type > then select none. It fixed it for me and havent had any problems doing it this way.

Hey man thanks for the heads up with that link. I was going to wait till the price dropped before I bought it, but at that price I couldn't resist.
  3. Samsung Galaxy S II

In regards to the snes emulator I'm using Snes9x EX from the market and have found it awesome playing zelda link to the past and super Mario bros 3. Free as well!
  4. Samsung Galaxy S II

Hey guys quick question. Did anybody's SG2 come with a SD card or did they buy one for it? I got mine through Optus on a cap and it didn't come with one.
  5. Samsung Galaxy S II

Yeah, the Telstra one will only work with Telstra. The 'main' one from Optus and Virgin will work on Telstra as well, but it'll only have GSM coverage and really slow data. In other words, pretty much useless. On another note, I lasted one night! I needed to root the phone so I could restore my data from my old SGS using Titanium Backup, so I figured I'd go the whole hog and install Lite'ning rom from XDA. It's a customised version of the latest Samsung rom, so it still has Touchwiz and the default lock screen, but it runs quite well. Basically it roots, removes bloat, removes carrier branding (Optus went further with their branding this time than they did with the SGS, which was annoying), deodexed (performance), optomised kernel, optomised browser, battery percentage, and a few other little tweaks. http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1095274 Because it's so close to stock firmware, you don't even need to wipe your data first! I just rooted to Lite'ning rom v1.5 thanks for that. The thing that made me do it was the battery counter and the CRT Screen-Off Animation I've had this phone for 3 days and I'm still figuring it out, coming off 3gs contract of two years this thing is a beast. hey guys im hoping either of you can help me out. i tried skimming thru the 400 odd pages my galaxy is the gt-i9100t, baseband/build xxKF4 and is already rooted. will i be able to flash my device with this rom as in the guide on the first page? or will i need a different file because of my version? the many variations of the xx versions confuses me a little. thanks. To be honest i cant see why not. Mine was a xxKF7 and it's now xxKF2.... but i have no idea about this sort of thing so maybe google?

How was the weather? I'm leaving this friday to go over for 10 days staying just outside of Phuket. I've been watching the weather report saying its thunder storms this whole week. dont believe the weather reports mate. ours said the same everyday! its the humidity that throws out the weather people. if it does rain, it will be at 5-8am and then go away. the hot weather over there means that stuff dries fast. we didnt get held up by rain ever on our 2 week honeymoon. where are you staying? Awesome so good to hear. I'm staying along Bangtao Beach in some condo's.

  9. Hi, I'm looking to lose weight and get strong but not 100% sure on a routine that would work for me. I'm 118kg, 5'10 and 23yrs old. I would like to get down to 85kg. I've been reading around and see that doing squats, military press, bench press, deadlift and powercleans are the main exercises that people are using. Is that all there is to it or should I be adding in any other exercises or cardio? What should my sets and reps be? Is 3 days a week enough with a day between for recovery? Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks.
  10. SOMEONE STOLE MY CAR!

You might want to put up better information about your car like model colour rego any distinguishable details. Good luck with it all though.
