Hi there, I am thinking on upgrading to a cold air intake system to take the stock one out. Has anyone done this any problems or is it even worth doing?? Please help as I am new and also new to rexy engines cheers

Hey mate I have a 2006 wrx and have had a exhaust system just recently fitted. I have that exact problem that you are describing! Mine was the active multiplier was down at 0 and it has to be at 1. I got the computer reset and that seemed to fix it but comes and goes so not sure why it happening. I am going to have a full service to help eliminate some factors. Good luck

Yeah I sort of had the same problem. I had a stainless exhaust system 3'' put in and tuned. I work away so my car sits there for 2 weeks and I think possibly that I might of had a bad batch of fuel. I had it re-tuned and that has seemed to fix it. Try that. Good luck

Hey all I was wondering if you are thinking on up grading and just getting a bigger intercooler will it make that much of a difference to you performance and not bother doing the turbo? Has anyone done this? Or is it not even worth it and just doing the upgrade for the intercooler and turbo at the same time? One more thing anyone got FMIC? Cheers

Hey everyone, I have an WRX 06 model and I wanted to know if mostly all WRX of any model have turbo timers? I know a turbo timer is as good as sitting in a car a few minutes after driving and does the same thing but when I finish driving sometimes I have to get out straight away. Also how bad is it to switch it off straight after driving? Does anyone know any places in Perth that you would recommend? Cheers Adam

Hi all I have just recently bought a wrx MY06 and are wanting a exhaust system with that nice subby sound. My car is complete stock and I was wondering what type I can get? Max motorsport in malaga have quoted $3,700 for a stainless exhaust system with a high flow exhaust from the heads to back of turbo and straight through. They are also replacing my fuel pump and tuning it and puttting it onto a dyno. Is this a good deal or a rip off? Please help and ideas? Cheers

Hi all, I was a recent member but with the Silvia department. I have ridden the car off with the hail storm and I have saved up and bought myself a Subaru WRX Impreza Sedan MY06. I bought it from a dealer and has only done 60kms and is in immaculate condition. I am looking at putting in a exhaust system because everything and I mean everything is new. I have had a quote from Max Motorsport for a stainless steel high flow system for $3,700? I am also looking at doing the suspension at some stage and getting better rims any ideas what rims??
