  1. Gday everyone. long time poster, never written a build thread. Seeing as i have done a tiny bit to the money pit i thought id share. So about 6-7 months ago i bought myself a 1990 180sx. It didnt look the best and due to my funds i had to resort to something cheap. picked the baby up real cheap as the fella was moving away like the week after, so i made an offer and it stuck. took her home the next night. Wheels and suspension - isc front coilovers. - buddy club rear coilovers with hks tops - 17x9+24 SSR reverse mesh with 25mm bolt on spacers. making them 17x9-1 - 17x10+26? Work VSXX - 16x8+0 steelies (Skid rims) - Rear camber arms - Lock spacers Exterior: - Ca front bar (soon to have lip) - Not to sure on skirts and rear bar - Roof Wing - Genuine Bwave ducktail Interior: - Velo GTP-1 Drivers seat - Bride Fixed back passenger - Sparco deep dish - All the normal gauges - Dildo - 6 Point cusco half cage Engine crap - Rb20 built to 2.4l - Rb26 crank, rods, cams, injectors - 4agze pistons - Z32 AFM - Eboost 2 - Jap IHI turbo - GTR intercooler - Bosch 040 - externally gated - Turbo Back exhaust 3" straight through with decat into twin 3" blast pipes. Last dynoed at 20psi at 260rwkw. and this is what the girl looked like when i got her. feel free to add hateful comments, ive probably already said it before.

    Car tuned at 250kw. 680nm torque. Heap more mid range power aswell. Matsuri happened on Saturday, nothing went right for me. To start off the day i had a bent tie rod rack end, ended up finding a spare a few hours later. So between 9am and 2pm i had only done around 2 laps. After replacing went back out for one lap, popped piping off of the turbo. Fixed that. Rear coilovers got worse and worse throughout the day. They are f**ked. No damper what so ever and the rear end bounces around like f**king crazy, making the car almost impossible to steer. Here is one of my very few clean runs of the day.

    Cheers guys! Car feels so much better. Need to stiffen the rear a lot. Was bouncing around a shit load causing a lot of understeer.

    havent posted in a while. Car issues have been sorted, it was put down to no resistor pack wired in. Causing the car to run extremely rich. Whilst finding these problems Cece chucked her on the Dyno and it pulled 234rwkw. Wired up the resistor etc, another dyno run and pulled 250kw. Thats untuned. so fair stoked with that. Had a 6 car private day out at Tailem Bend on Monday with close friends, was a fair chilled day. Car feels pretty good to skid. Overheats pretty often so need to get cooling issues sorted. AND i blew up my diff just after lunch so had to call it a day.

    1989 Integra 1996 celica 1990 then CA 180sx now RB24 (still own) 1993 VR commodore (still own) unsure of year R32 1989 A31 Cefiro.

    Used a Ceffy sway bar in mine and fit all sweet man. Also used the Ceffy crossmember.

    it was last dynoed at an apparent 259rwkw, running correctly id guess it would be close to that as it is right now. But hopefully with the nisstune, i will see what this turbo is capable of.

    Had the car sussed out by jaustech. Found the problem. Not fixed just yet. Had a few power runs on the dyno. Running like shit. Super rich. Etc etc. Pulled 233rwkw at 17 or so psi. Running right will see a large increase in power.

    sort of, but you will soon realize how shit Adelaide roads are. Pot holes galore.
