heya guys and gals. having a good friend of mine being diagnosed with a nasty case of cancer, and being unable to do diddly f**k all about it got myself and a mate looking into what we can do about it... and while we cant cure cancer. we sure as hell can raise some money to put towards a couple of choice organisations. hence the below has been organised . 5/1/2014. "f#ck the c word" (cancer) car cruise. all makes/models/cars/bikes invited. meet point : yet to be confirmed, hopefully either Castle Plaza Shopping Centre or Kurallta Park Shopping Centre. end point: victor harbour skatepark time:11AM meet. departing 12.30 PM cost: $10 per car YES SAPOL WILL BE AWARE OF THE EVENT AND AN OFFICER WILL BE ON HAND AT THE MEET POINT TO GIVE PEOPLE A TALK. HOON BEHAVIOR WILL RESULT IN ME PERSONALLY TRACKING YOU DOWN, KICKING YOU IN THE SACK AND THEN DATING YOUR SISTER. AND NO. I WONT CALL HER THE NEXT DAY. what the f**k? a cost for a cruise i hear you say? whats my $10 get me? : gets you a ticket into the sweet sweet raffle, a ribbon for your car and free sausage upon arrival at the Victor Harbor destination. All proceeds from the event will be going to F#CK the C-word, who will distribute it between victims of Cancer, the Leukaemia, Canteen and the Royal Adelaide Hospital It has been requested that if you have been directly affected by Cancer, or have someone close to you that has, that you wear a bright coloured wig or something similar to the event to show your support. A best in show competition will also be held, with the winner voted by organizers, with a prize awarded. as well as a raffle to be drawn at the final point We will also be working alongside SAPOL for this event, to endeavour a hassle free day for all concerned. Illegal activity will not be tolerated, as this is a family event. All types, makes and models of vehicle are welcome to attend, whether road bike or stretch limo, you're more than welcome to come along. More details will be added to the event as they become available. all in all. it should be a good day to get together. raise some money for a good cause and get some sweet cars out the shed. just chuck a comment in this thread, or fill the poll in as to whether your keen or not, so we can gauge numbers. further details will be added here as we iron the kinks out.
