  3. If you're on our facebook page then this doesn't come as a surprise to you and you have probably already seen this image. If you're not on our Facebook page, then you should be as that's where we release a heap of info before it's posted anywhere else. This thread is a good example: http://www.facebook.com/gktech NOTE: I did install the brake caliper brackets on the wrong side, it was a late night! Please ignore. A bunch of more images/drawings from the design process can be seen here: http://www.facebook....83379304&type=3 ETA Late October, 2012 Intro price confirmed at $599/pair For those that have missed it what we have here is a billet 7075-T6 aluminium modular knuckle for the S chassis (S13 and S14/S15) with CrMo spindle and inserts. Featuring: - spindle height raised 40mm's to correct roll center - modular steering arm (choice between 3 arms at the time of ordering) - adjustable steering arm to correct bump steer (as seen here: http://www.facebook....151055582888296) - modular caliper mount with ABS provision (choice between 2 brackets at the time of ordering; standard and extended bracket to suit 4pot caliper with 324mm R33 GTR rotor - S13 version is: 2.52kg which is a 24% reduction over standard - S14/S15 version is: 2.63kg which is a 31% weight reduction over standard and DriftWorks item which weighs in at 3.8kg's - adjustable KPI/Camber +/- 2 degrees - mix and match when ordering. Ie. ability to order the knuckle with S14 spindle, with S14 ball joint insert but with S13 strut bolts (12mm Vs S14/S15 having 14mm) - CAD files available to the general public for steering arm and caliper bracket development Test photos to come in the next week or so. Enjoy, Greg Kruse - GKTECH
  4. I have been doing a bit of a look around the internet and such looking for modified knuckles for my JZZ30 Soarer to get a bit more steering angle then what it has now. Now the only info i really found on Modifying the knuckles for a Soarer lead to the drift works forum and a heap of info for S chassis cars knuckles. I did also find on import monster (AKA yahoo auction jp) knuckles already modified and ready to put in, but @ $450 buy now + shipping etc... I didn't think that was an option because it would cost too much. Now from what I know, cutting and shortening the knuckle arm where the tie rod joins too, will increase the angle more. Obviously you will need adjustable tie rod ends etc for further adjustments. Now my main questions are: Does anyone know where I can get modified knuckles for a JZZ30 Soarer that are relatively cheap? Or know of anyone that can cut and shut the knuckles at a decent price? Any info on the topic would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
