Durafix / Ultra Bond aluminium brazing rods

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I have a hole in my radiator, i dont like trying to tig weld aluminium that thin (i suck at trying to weld coke cans lol)

i know the radiator repair guys my shop normally sends radiators too uses some sort of product to fill in holes like a braze or silver soilder,

I found the 2 above products online, and just wondering has anyone used them? if so, how did it go?

thanks

Scott

If I recall you are running a stock radiator? Wouldnt a cheap alternative be to just buy a spare?

It's a hole in one of the tubes in the core. It's from a bolt rubbing against it,not wear and tear, it's a stock r32 gtr radiator and as it's just a hole I don't think it justifies getting a 2nd radiator as a spare, I'll give the stuff a go and if it fails I'll send it to my radiator bloke
