My first sr20 short write up

Recommended Posts

Hello all you fine people! this is my first write up attempt on my 2001 adm s15.

In the past have owned a 1993 r33 1999 r34 and a 1996 r33 s2

I was going through the stage where I could afford a 'newer' jap car and wanted to start leading away from a skyline,

A friend of a friend was selling his 2001 adm s15 with 130,000 kms, 6 speed manual with only mod was a cd player and slotted front rotors,

I've owed the car for about 10 months and recently I've been able to spend money on doing mods I've wanted to do since I bought the car. Sup mild 'mods' but in the near future there will be more to come!

But I must say coming from 3xRB's into a SR im very happy with the engine despite the lack of toque, nice power for factory detuned adm spec, great fuel eco and a familiar set up in the engine bay.

Anyway the car now has a couple of mild mods, Smoked indicators, Smoked rear lights, Window tint, Varex cat back, Rota wheels 18x9 +27, pod filter, new synthetic oils through out,

Future mods coil overs, suggestions would be great I prefer a softer street spec coil, black fmic, full exhaust, more boost, upgrade interior ( speakers, new seats etc) then hopefully have a nice daily, I know its no impressive kw machine but still plenty for me as a daily, thanks for reading any mod suggestions or questions feel free to ask, and any photos of your car that you feel you want to put up please do so, all the best !

Hey Jake, Nice s15! if may suggest, i thought if your new to the SR engine, first thing i would recommend is a upgraded oil sump, more so if you are drifting, and possibly a oil relocation kit cause they can be a pain to change oil filters on sr20s. looks amazing, GL with the build.
