Sa active members role call

Exactly, but it depends on the person " selling"the retail used seatbelts. That's why we have to love the old classic 1970's ford Escort's and Capri's, they are so easy!!

Absolutely, just make sure that they are perfect, if they are slightly faded give them a dye job, I know of someone getting knocked back over faded seatbelts back in the late 80's.. Fuck that makes me feel like an old cunt.... I might be old but I'm not a cunt.

Had a busted rear belt housing on a previous 180sx. Regency passed it.. It wouldn't even retract. I didn't know .. He pointed it out and clearly couldn't careless.

NS seems more active in the last week!

Last time I went through regency one of my rear seat belts wouldn't come out at all due to it being permanently locked due to it malfunctioning but I still passed. Now my drivers seat belt wont retract and the WD40 trick has helped but not enough.

I bought the 2 rear seat belts, just the retractable part not the click in part as these will connect straight in and they cost me $190 for the pair would have been another $40 each for the click in piece

I'd just like to take this moment to point out that there are currently nine S.A lads who have posted on here, only one ore more required until MaTeSh has to 'eat his words'

I say once we hit ten people we set a date to all catch up at the Blue and White Cafe in North Adelaide.

Come on somebody, must be some more people alive out there up for a small cruise / meet. I'm up for making my first one.

There's a fair few other big groups going around Adelaide at the moment but for the most part it's all done through Facebook groups these days.

There are always people watching. but yes the import/car scene is dead and buried in SA due to Police/defects. I would probably say at least every member that has been on here has been defected at one stage or another.

Been defected twice. My car would be very lucky to have seen 12 months on the road over the last 5-6 years I've had it. Currently working through getting my second one off now. Even regency laughed at the defect notice when I gave it to them but they then found a couple of more serious things under the car.

Yea and that is the problem, for simple defects like a headlight out or too low they send to Regency where as a simple visit to the local Police station once the problem is rectified could fix the issue. But no they want to screw people over and fork money top the government via the booking fee.

The funny thing is an everyday car will be a visit to the Police station and half the time these cars are not looked after/serviced/safe! whereas most Jap cars that are well presented have the very best and newest brakes/suspension /tyres etc. and these are the cars we are picking on. whereas guy down the street with his 2002 Magna with bald front tyres and mashed CV jonts drive off away from the RBT without a second look.........end rant

^^ Agreed. Both SAU and NS are basically dead... Used to both have such a thriving community and I always enjoyed visiting the sites.

Met a lot of great people on the cruises, too!

I havent been on here for years. But its great to see that members are still active and those with knowledge are still answering questions and discussing stuff in the tech section. Pervy you still have your s14? I remember seeing this on the roads years ago, was so clean and such a nice stance (y).

Not overly keen on cruises these days, I prefer just going out with a few mates instead. I used to organise cruises on here back in the day haha, oh the good ol dayz! It was fun :)
