at a guess i'd say the missus car is 4 stud sugs.

therefore no need for conversion spacers, just normal ones

Yup, 4 stud FTW just need to find a pair of 34gtr wheels for the rear, then 5 stud hubs and redrilled rotors

yeah the subaru's 5x100 pattern is bullsh*t, pretty much means you have to get brand new wheels to get exactly what ya want, ya can buy some kics bolt on stud pattern adapter spacers, from 5x100 - 5x114.3, only $249 a pair and sweeet quality, and the are only 10 or 15mm thick, then that would open up a whole sh*t load of opportunity for different wheels :yes:link to kics spacers

you could pick up some of the weaker offset wheels on here that are going for cheap and they would fit tight on a subaru

Maybe the later model hubs will fit on the earlier models like the nissan gear. Would be a good upgrade seeing most of them would be upgrading to brembos etc

nah they don't fit, practically every part of the running gear would have to be upgraded to sti gear, so it would be almsot half the cost of the car in parts.

i know this is a common question, but what and how would 18x8.5+22 18x9.5 +22 all round sit on an s15?does anyone have pics or anything they can show me?

^ Would sit well... I run +15 9.5 on my rear in 18, and 17x9 + 12 upfront... Comes down to tyre size and camber :) But you should get away with lipped gaurds if thats the wheels you get :)

so i got defected this morning, wheels sticking out the guard & too low,

now to decide whether i:

a) get new wheels with gay higher offset around +20 region (cheaper option but car will look like a homo)

or

b ) get genuine gtr front guards and wide rear guards ?? (costly, around $1800-$2000)

any ideas ppl ?

i cant remember ya car but go wider front guards and flare the rear. should hopefully get it all done and painted for less than 1k. then just wack stockys on for defect and ya done and still legal.

cops dont touch me with my 18x11's under the rear as they sit flush under the flared guard.

pic of my car (the rear has gone lower since this pic was taken)

3258810699483b02fac3b.jpg

thats what i initially wanted to do but drift garage said the flare will look funny on a R34.

i've never seen one with a lipped rear either lol. or are you talking about the proper panel beater flare jobs?

heres a pic of mr dmds car with flared rear guards, doesn't look too bad.

cheers

you could either lip the guards or be a smart ass and see if you can unpick the inner guard from the outers and try and persuade it out further. then weld them back together. but i dont know what that would do to the line of the outer guard. might f**k it up in a few areas. i know with mine it pulled the panel and that was a pain to fix.

try a simple bit of camber with a slight roll and lip. if that dont work you have to decide what to do.

this is how mine is. besides the 30mm spacer and it being so low.

18x10 +18 Rear

17x9.5 +17 +5mm slip on.

Would be better lower, but then i'd have to pull the guards more or run more camber.

Anyways it's a fairly low for Aus. roads, and heaps lower than the majority of pussies on here. :P
