I still got my specialized wethepeople and mongoose lol i havnt riden in years i should get back into it. I use to ride dirt me and mates had a few tabletops with a massive step up and a transfer it was a good track. use to have junkies dig it up and shit so that sucked but didnt stop us building them bigger better. We also have skate park started riding there doing the spine transfer and learning to grind. I remember trying to 360 the spin took me a long time but i did it was a small 6ft bowl into a large 4ft bowl, also use to be a rail, drop in at the end of the 4ft build up speed launch out over the rail do tailwhips, no handers and i attempted a 180 but failed.. Also tried riding at slam in tuggerah that was fun..

i used to love my dirt jumps.

had a full trail literally 100m around the corner from my house.

started with a lil small kicker, where it launched into a big double. from there had like 3 different landings, and various hip lines...

last double was a 15-17ft gap, and in the dip was well over head height,

loved doing big lazy 360s over that in summer haha.

ill get some pics from the skate park this weekend.

That first photo turned out awesome, was it planned that way ? With the flash lighting just you up and the evening light in the background, or was it just point and shoot and it turned out that way.

yeah, thats how the photog shot it, he does alot of stuff for magazines etc.

Ted, if i wanted to go larger axles would i go new rimset, or can i get bearings etc to fit larger ones into my hubs ? also if i go larger hubs, will i have to change spokes etc too ?

Thought they looked quite professional. (I had a phone call in the middle of the post before so I deleted it half edited)

The last shot would look great with 2 riders doing that jump simultaneously.

I remember borrowing someone's bike once at the track, so I hit the first tabletop and when I landed the chain came off cause it was loose, sent me sideways straight into the dirt. It must have looked quite funny judging how everyone was laughing at me.

lol i just opened the focalpoint page, coops looks the same as he did back in the day. I also see my mates editing their dvd's - choice

rexhunta: you'd need slotted axles (but they probably don't make them anymore) or drill out your frame stays to make oversized axles fit

it depends on the hub. some hubs you can get a bearing with a bigger id so you can run a 14mm axle, but most hubs youll have to buy a new one.

how new are the spokes in your current wheels? you shouldnt really use *old* spokes because they are usually already stretched out to the max, but on freshly built wheels then you should be good to reuse the spokes, as long as you use the same rim and a hub with the same size flanges.

dont worry about 14mm on the front, i run pegs and i only run 10mm(3/8) on the front. ill always run 14mm on the rear though.

otherwise, yeah like judas said, slotted axles, but theyre getting hard to come by now. best bet is to drill out your dropouts to make a 14mm axle fit.

that 1/4 isnt really big enough to have 2 people on it at the same time.
