Haha can't believe I've been on here for 4yrs now with this account, used to have another many yrs ago but forgot it lol

May aswell keep this thread alive

First car way back in the day was

1977 Mitsubishi lancer( still have it in the garage building it up for the wife, currently CA18 and ssr reverse mesh ;) )

Then the long list of cars in between

ET turbo pulsar N12

Ford Escort

R33 GTST (whilst owning/building this drove around in a early free Toyota Tarago lol but could chirp into 4th gear on the hwy lol, massive clutch dumps FTW )

Then my first S13 SR20DEt factory Ks with full aero kit

Then R34 gtt 4door

Back to S13 with my RB Sil80

And finally my S14 yay

I missed a few dailys in-between but you don't wanna know about them.

So with

Finish S14

20k

Go nuts with S14

30k

If interested there Is a post on one of the first 2 pages of my build thread with a pic of most of my old cars :P

8 years on this site? Haha

First car I got a ca18det s13 back in late '03 early '04. Put a pod on it and had crazy induction and flutter and the bitches at school loved it haha.

-Then a 32 which ended up a damn good looking car. By far my favorite car I've owned!

-Then ae92 till I could find something else.

-Then a 33 4 door with a forged rb26 running 11's

-Then a s13 track car while still owning the 33

-Then a charade on dual fuel while I was studying. Did over 1,000km to both tanks for less then $60 slow as f**k

-Then a 180sx

-Then a Hilux while still owning the 180

-Then traded the 180 for a Stag

So I've got a Stag and the Hilux now :/

I remeber back in the day when I got my first car that I could drive the streets and cops would hand out noise fines if they cought us sliding which was only a couple of bucks and no points. Got right into drift after going to port gawler and sitting on the sea containers watching skids!

that's when NS was so much better.

QFT.

When the TFIF threads were actually entertaining and nothing got deleted/censored. These days nothing comes even close to the sort of stuff that was in those threads.

i don't really know why i still come here tbh. i don't relaly "do" much ns.com stuff and there's not a whole lot of jzx100 into or parts here either.

wish the chinese parts guys would start making jzx100 stuff though. toyota tax is a rape.

What are you after though? Im guessing your wanting stock aero parts? Theres lots of JZX100 parts out there but its all aftermarket styling.

Either way, The parts copy world revolves around America.. If America gets a car delivered to it via car yards then copy parts go into heavy production cause they know the Americans will want it/buy it.. The Japs wont buy copy parts, and nobody cars about Australia cause body kits are still rare down here.

negative. i want suspension bits. arms, strut braces etc. cheapest new strut brace is a cusco one for $300. TRD is more than that, for a front strut brace only. f**king mental.

Guess i Qualify kinda, even tho i had a huge absense in the middle, joined the site in 05 sometime during the first rebuild of my Datsun 120y rally car, YES i said 120Y, get over it. Body got freshened up (kinda ) and i thought " hey why not go an import motor"

found ns.com and chatted around. got inm touch with a guy called spandex ( not sure if he still is around or not ) and got prices etc for a CA18DET, uhuh, once again you heard me, a CA fool!

anyway there were supply issues and weeks turned into months so i bailed on the idea and just kept the a12, which turned out for the best anyway as the car started going down hill quickly ( hitting things while rallying does that )

took her of the track in 2010 with plans to restore again, but the more work i done the more i found needed doing, with rust taking over in the poor little car. so retired her to a paddock in 2011, now am in the process of building a newer ( but still old )

rally car,

I do want to give the little A12 a plug right now though, car sat ourside for 6 months with only a tarp over the motor, went down, put a battery in, kicked her over and she fired up, foam started comming out the oil breather, looked puzzled and remembered that 6 months included our wet season, dropped the water....uhmm i mean oil :D, though more water came out of the sump then oil, new oil filter, some black and gold 20w 50 oil, fired her back up and she ran as smooth as it ever did. RAWR!!! Datsun power!
