Latency Issue With S15 480cc And Nismo 740cc

had a bit of articles search and found that

 

Apexi PFC manual indicated 448cc for S15 but some says 480cc as standard

 

So if it is 480cc then latency is either 0.5ms or 0.78ms from what I found on the net.

 

As for the Nismo 740cc it is 0.66ms

 

So is the latency diff 0.16 or -0.12ms?

 

That is a real big difference and will affect how the car runs so please specify if you know this please.

Jap Spec S15 injectors are actually 448cc at standard fuel pressure, 480cc is some stupid number everyone has been posting up. (Waits for K/B warriors to spam saying their 480cc at standard pressure)

 

S15 Injectors

Latency 0. 77ms 2.55 450cc

Latency 0. 78ms 3.05 490cc

Latency 0. 79ms 3.55 525cc

 

Latency would be 0.77-0.66 = 0.11ms

Correction would be 450/740 = 60.82%

INJECTOR CORRECTION

 

- Formula = stock 448cc divided by nismo 740cc = 0.60cc x 100 = 60.54%.

 

So i would go into the ecu and change the INJ correction to 60.54%

 

"INJECTOR LATENCY CORRECTION"

 

From what i have found the latency for the nismo's is 0.66msec and stock is 0.77msec

 

- Formula = nismo 0.77msec minus stock 0.66msec = 0.11ms

 

So i would change the INJ Latency numbers for each injector to 0.11msec

calculations listed there are back to front

 

latency formula is new minus old

 

nismo minus stock

 

.66 - .78

 

= -.12

This is true, the 200SX is at 3 bar and the Silvia is at 4 bar due to the power difference.
