My 1jz s13 Silvia

Welcome to my silvia build. Been building it for too long now but its getting there,

 

Anyway heres some specs and future plans

 

 

exterior:

 

Nismo aero front bar, side skirts (all i need are the pods let me know if you got some)

 

Wheels:

tein ha rears 7kg

tubbed front end

strengthen front rails

removable rad support

Tubs look tuff as mate! Is the rad support gonna be a removeable item or are will it be welded in?

not that it really matters, but they aren't vs-xx. look more like vs-mx to me

So i decied on the 1j to run with a gt35 82. rear.

 

jzx90 halfcut with the remote shifter r154

All in all the conversion went smoother than i expected, All i had to do is remove the sway bar (will get one made) and ease out the shifter hole. other than that it took about 20 hours to square it up and make all the mounts.

though mine fit without a modified swaybar :D

Bling... the swaybar dose actually fit but i have the motor in there super low and it sits to close to the block. No biggie tho.

 

Been on holidays so have been sittin around drinkin beer and getting up to no good, but have managed to buy some goodies.

Started on my manifold...the laser cutters weren't open so i had to make all the flanges the old fashion way.

JZ work very nicely in silivas lol. How much further back does the remote shifter move the gear stick? Might need this for my r154, as my shifter starts under the cd player

On another note, ordered may waste gate today. another $700 closer to skids lol.

Thats sits heaps far back than I thought, but i suppose better having it closer then forward. Just found out a site (My link)which shows the differeces from the normal and remote shifters, still reading through, hopefully it is interchangable. Cheers for the picture...

Finished welding the manifold. Welded each weld like 4 times lol took for ages but it should hold. got the turbo Sitting in there so i can work out were to put the gate.

 

put alot of time into getting all pipes the closes to same length as each other. looks a little spaghetti buts schould do the job. Hope so anyways lol.
