I bought a pair of actual race gloves after having to wear them at ebisu, it felt good once I got used to it.

Don't know if I'll actually wear them here though haha

and i may aswel start with some story telling

EPISODE 1 - GETTING TO JAPAN.

so on the 26th of April Damian (littlecherri) ryan (.Ryan.) and I (kriss) made our way to Tullamarine airport at 3AM to catch our 6AM flight to the Gold Coast on our way to the 2013 Spring Drift Matsuri at Ebisu Circuit in Japan

IMG_4874_zpsc50bc9c7.jpg

it was f**king freezing and the airport at that time of the morning is so boring, no girls in short skirts or anything,

after check in finally opened we got our bags through and I slipped the airport staff a few dollars to give the guys a full anal cavity search

IMG_4875_zps9c514876.jpg

IMG_4876_zps15301456.jpg

im pleased to say none of us had any drugs hidden in our buttholes :)

after that we got a bite to eat and waited at our gate and snapchatted pics of our penis's to girls we didnt know

IMG_4877_zps9dd83ac3.jpg

after waiting 3 hours to get on our plane we finally borded, thank god we got ask to sit in those seats with no one in front of us but in the case of an emergency we were asked to help, YEH RIGHT!

Ryan proceeded to do his best impression of Gaz or Geordie Shore

IMG_4881_zpsb4210e4a.jpg

the flight to the Gold Coast wasnt too bad, plenty leg room thanks to where we were asked to sit and i got an hour or 2 sleep in

6FEF7DB5-14F7-4D39-A425-A75411002758-3713-000001AB89AFBEF0_zps77fd407b.jpg

after a 2 hour flight we arrived in the Gold Coast, went through customs crap ect ect and waited in the gate for our connecting flight to Japan, we took the chance to once again eat some toasted ham and cheese sandwhiches

63BA781C-9BD6-4AA8-A3B5-D3085260CA09-3713-000001AB9305758D_zps1c2156e8.jpg

we also took lots of Instagram pics of each other

IMG_4882_zps6b635e22.jpg

now about 2 weeks before we left melbourne we all got an email from Jetstar asking if we wanted to upgrade to business class for our international flight for only $250, ofcourse we did as there was no way i was sitting in economy for 9 hours with the peasants, none of us had been in business class before so was going to be an experience in itself, we were very happy with our decision to pay the extra

mass ammounts of leg room, everything is free (alcohol, food ect) free ipad with movies, shows, games ect was so worth it

IMG_4886_zps44ef4e6f.jpg

IMG_4887_zpsed82318a.jpg

me and damian did the cute link arms thing

IMG_4888_zpse36786cb.jpg

we were probably the most annoying people on the flight but who cares haha

IMG_4890_zpsdbc0f657.jpg

Damian and I watched Gangster Squad (highly recommended) while i think Ryan watched Brokeback Mountain

IMG_4893_zpsc15edcaa.jpg

suprisingly the food didnt look too bad, I still wasnt game to try it though

IMG_4894_zps7974a722.jpg

after a 9 hour flight of pure comfort we arrived at Narita Airport at 7PM at night, collected our bags and proceeded to get our hire car

STAY TUNED!!!!!

EPISODE 2 - HIRE CAR AND PRINCE SAKURA HOTEL

so after taking forever to get through customs with all our god damn luggage and finally finding the hire car place at the airport we were pleasantly surprised to find that the lady at the counter spoke very good english and she was f**king hilarious aswel, pretty sure she wanted me but anyways.......she walked us out to our car that was waiting in the car park and told us "sorry no cars with english navigation" f**k YOU!!!!!

ACFAB80D-063A-4F2D-9210-7B1F118B117E-1033-0000006E5EDE3CFF_zps8b221f0c.jpg

thankfully I had the address's to most of the places we needed to go so she pre programmed them in there for us and drew us up some instructions on how to use it, she also let us know that we shouldnt let off any fireworks in the car or take it on the track at Ebisu, but we were allowed to smoke pot and drink alcohol, yeh thanks lady

so we set off on our merry way to the Prince Sakura Hotel id booked for us in Shinagawa

after about an hour of driving

IMG_4899_zps64ee0ea3.jpg

we arrived

13150847-7249-415E-A3EE-479F2133DDB0-1033-00000099BB30CBB0_zpsd37448c6.jpg

now the last time I went to Japan we stayed in some pretty average places nothing special, this place was amazing, so plush and nice, wasnt that expensive either for the 3 nights we planned to stay there

this is the lobby area as soon as you walk in

C94A82A3-9E6E-40ED-B3E5-419F1B85E650-1033-00000099BFD4143D_zps9fe63929.jpg

has its own small cafe sort of restaurant and nice couches in the seating area with free wifi

077DD9D6-8B25-4831-ACAE-8953D4BA5D9C-1033-00000099B73D47C2_zps2907a7d3.jpg

so I checked us in for the night and we headed up to our room

8ACF9B63-9DAF-4FEF-A7E2-218F4EFC8A79-1033-00000099C69F6DE7_zps75b2e77d.jpg

walking into our room I was amazed at how big it was, I was expecting 3 beds and a bathroom and that was about it like most japanese hotels but this was huge

E8D7428B-0FA5-4435-9DAF-BE565891A1C9-1033-00000099CA1B2C25_zps825efe41.jpg

we were all wrecked and decided to have showers and settle in

IMG_4908_zps35e1f989.jpg

we also took some selfies in the big mirror

IMG_4910_zpsc36d2e19.jpg

i cant remember if it was before or after this that we headed out to Daikoku Futo, being a Friday night it would be at its most busiest, if youre un familiar with Daikoku google it, long story short we got there fine but the cops had already blocked off the entry to get in so we headed back unfortunately

so we decided to just explore the area around our hotel

IMG_4906_zps1c32a95e.jpg

IMG_4904_zps905163ff.jpg

there isnt too much around the hotel to do but has everything you need like restaurants and a 7/11 with in 2 min walk (jap 7/11's have everything you need)

IMG_4902_zpsf865acf7.jpg

IMG_4903_zpse614a5ef.jpg

after a short exploration we headed back to our hotel, went on youporn for a while and rubbed one out, then went to sleep to be fresh for the next day of UpGarage hunting :)

You'd think 4 years on from the Club Outrun trip they'd stop hassling Aussies about letting off fireworks in the hire cars :) Did you guys drive around with the footbrake on one click so you could watch bad Jap porn dvds whilst driving as well?

EPISODE 3 - JAPANESE GARDEN AND FLYRAT

after getting in a decent sleep for the night after our flight we were nice and fresh for the morning, from the lobby of our hotel you could see a realy nice traditional garden behind the hotel, being realy good wether that morning we decided to check it out before we set of on our days adventures

so damo chucked on his best wife beater and we were off

IMG_4920_zpse963fbb0.jpg

IMG_4921_zps101f032f.jpg

the garden was alot bigger than we thought

IMG_4922_zps5635490a.jpg

IMG_4923_zpsb6635a5d.jpg

had many bridges and different paths to take

IMG_4931_zps33c40366.jpg

we also took our first group selfie

IMG_4936_zpsa9c5f44c.jpg

right in the centre of the area was a big pond filled with massive Koi Fish

IMG_4937_zps7bd15f02.jpg

these are alot bigger than id pictured Koi to be

IMG_4938_zps568cf990.jpg

IMG_4940_zpsb029fda1.jpg

IMG_4941_zps9b82573b.jpg

damo almost got eaten by one, he was realy lucky not to get pulled in and mauled

IMG_4943_zps988a5563.jpg

finding our way back out a group of 3 Jap girls walked past with nice legs, Ryan did his best not to look seedy while checking them out

IMG_4944_zps1ee0535e.jpg

after that we got all our shit together and jumped in the hire car and set off

IMG_4946_zps5cea195e.jpg

the plan was to hit up as many UpGarages as we could in the 2 days before we went to Ebisu, i still had my list of UpGarage phone numbers from my last trip and had market out the good ones and shit ones ect so we had somewhat of an idea and didnt waste time at ones that didnt keep much good stuff in stock

IMG_4963_zps77bab536.jpg

bought some GWorks magazines and generally just looked like tourists

IMG_4965_zpsb26806aa.jpg

saw a cool truck

IMG_4966_zps592bbeb1.jpg

pretended to read some signs

IMG_4967_zps1716e039.jpg

Ryan was pretty adventurous with the food so we'd let him buy first and if it was good we'd also buy it

IMG_4968_zps7a5c7657.jpg

after demolishing the 7/11 toilets we set off again, the UpGarage we were heading to Ryan and I had been to before and knew it always had good stuff, it was about an hour away from our hotel

we arrived to find a nice line up of GTR's out the front for sale

IMG_4969_zps27c19697.jpg

IMG_4970_zpsf93583a4.jpg

IMG_4971_zpsccdbc3f7.jpg

next door was also a classic caryard called FLYRAT which we also checked out kast time, we headed in there before going into UpGarage

IMG_4972_zps474dbaa1.jpg

as many may know im obssesed with DR30's and last time we came here there was an amazing red over black one in the yard, this time i was happy to find a silver over gunmetal coupe
