The Hard Word - supposedly australia's answer to "lock stock n 2 smoking barrels". Its nowhere near that good but I still really enjoyed it.

Not Quite Hollywood - Doco on the Ozploitation flicks of the 70's. VERY entertaining.

Rogue - Croc attack movie. Not scarey in the least but entertaining, and farily well put together film.

Long Weekend - The original from the 70's was a very good film. Very creepy. Was remade recently but I haven't seen the remake.

Storm Warning - Torture porn. Generally I am not into these kinda flicks but this one was very "inventive".

Thats all I can think of at the moment, though I have heard Cedar Boys is good.

the proposition

written by nick cave, set in an 1880's australian outback town.

A lawman apprehends a notorious outlaw and gives him 9 days to kill his older brother, or else they'll execute his younger brother

Till Human Voices Wake Us

it's a bit of an arty and depressing film, but really good if you like that kind of stuff.

A man returns to Victoria, Australia, where he grew up, and encounters a mysterious woman who reminds him of someone he once knew

Candy

has heath ledger and abbie cornish, a story about two drug as their lives spiral downwards. lots of tits too.

A poet falls in love with an art student who gravitates to his bohemian lifestyle -- and his love of heroin. Hooked as much on one another as they are on the drug, their relationship alternates between states of oblivion, self-destruction, and despair.

mad max

yeah it's an aussie film even if mel gibson is now a crazy douche. first and second movies were pretty enjoyable, do not watch the third.

Undead!

Saw it a few days ago

Dodgy low budget pisstake on zombie movies with good old aussie humour

Effects were half decent though for a low budget flick

More here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0339840/

The directors of this one made a new, proper film, called Daybreakers, which looks pretty good too, due out in January
