bc's are pretty stiff

hsd's are pretty cheap and ride comfy imo, I've got the dampers set about midway between hard and soft in my 32 and i like that ride.

silkroads brand new through streeter aren't overly expensive I don't think, very good coilover, go low as

Hey mate could you give me a link on ebay for an s15 with them coilovers i cant find them

are they a comfortable ride and do they go really low?

You won't find silkroads on eBay, you'll need to buy them direct from Japan

My Tein Control Master Type Flex's atm are sitting at 100mm front end and a bit higher at the back and there is plenty more room for them to be lowered, they are on a 180 with 17" rims, Stiffness is very nice, over shit roads its bumpy as hell but over normal roads its less bumpy as hell, comfort is fine, besides my car ain't luxury spec, I'm in a JDM sports car! xD

Honestly man, just get bc's.

Your not going to max the 'lowness' of those coilovers and just get 6-4 springs if your worried about stiffness.

Couple of recent pics.

you can run faster...

Slow as all hell, but what do you expect really, still get loose in the wet.

Depending what you do to it, but if you droped a 20v in/manual it would scream

Im just keeping mine stock engine as its eaiser, cheaper and dont have to worry about cops.

lol serious? hows na more fun they dont have that power that a turbo has :)

well my brothers first car was pretty fun with a spool vl with manual that had a decent amount of balls.

but i dont see it more fun then a turbo or something there just something about them.

Teaches you to drive better, makes you go faster, feels good when you do better in an NA than someone with some all out crazy track car with no idea

Yeap^

Getting a stock auto carb ke out sideways full lock is mad fun, and it seriously does teach you how to control a car.

There's only so much you can do in an na, espec at big tracks like QR.

Archerfield go cart track would be sick in N/A seen a few out there rippin it.

Yeah something about being able to have the throttle to the floor almost anywhere is fun...you're using all of it's potential more often but have to wrestle more to get it outta shape...and i guess be more committed as you can't use the throttle in the same way as something with heaps of power. I've never really been on a track with any of my cars and I'm looking forward to learning how to drive properly using my na at mallala once the suspension is sorted. One of the least powerful cars I've had but I still love it lol.

My only problem is I struggle to properly drive the ass off my cars because I'm always worried I'll do damage...mechanical sympathy is a limiting factor I guess.

yeah not long ago a mate an i ended up at, well let's just say it was a nice, long, straight road with no one around :quagmire: and after... um, testing which one of our cars could get from their current position to another position further down the road in the most efficient manner i was a little bit concerned with the complaints the car had for a little bit. imagine a person who hasn't run in like 18 months and all of a sudden they get spooked and run for their lives, only to be left wheezing for half n hour after it. it settled down n all that, just haven't taken it full bore at all since i've had it. and chances are it's in need of some tlc as it is lol.

Not really, 2 best cars at QR are Racsov (NA31) and Rob (NA ae86) they both do the biggest corners with ease, just go faster

Its easy to say "just go faster" but in reality i dout most (na) people would have the knowledge of how to control the car at speed sideways.

Yea its all trial and error and just having a go.
