180sx starter motor

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

As the topic states, which is the easier way to swap out the strater motor?

1. Drop the gearbox (if need be) and go at it from underneath.

OR

2. Go at it from the top and remove inlet manifold and surrounding sh#t?

Thanks

neither lol

come up from under the car. don't need to take anything off (maybe your wheel for room to move) it's pretty easy to get to as is even if your only using the stock jack etc..

5-10 min job at most. 1 nut and 2 bolts.

assuming its sr20.. not sure about ca18's.

ah righto, i havent actually had a look at what was involved but i was hoping some SR20 guru would say that there is an easier way.

I take it that the install is just as easy, why wouldn't it be i guess.

Hopefully this time i can call and book some dyno time and NOT have to cancel 1 day before lol..... Willall Racing must dread answering the phone and hearing my voice!

Thanks guys
