for me its the exhaust which makes or breaks most sports bikes for me, i love the factory look..(dont know why, just do mkay!) just gutt any mufflers first.

i love the GSXR 750 (2006) model, or the new CBR1000 RR 2010 model, both have killer exhausts.

I don think theyre that much Nams. pull another 20k on that and you could get a Desmosedici.

Rex's brother just bought one of these:

KTM RC8

superstock%20version%20RC8.jpg

1190cc V-twin 155Hp, less than 190Kg and it sounds like the world is going to end.

As soon as He saw it it became Rex's dream bike...

Surprisingly, brand spankers they're just under 30k. Considering how much bike that is, its gotta be a bargain...

Second hand they're floating around 18-20k.

He works for a dealer and got it as traded-in for somewhere around 18k

^^^ over rated. This is a direct quote from a mate/former boss who owns one.

It ran real sweet in the minutes before I ran out of fuel in the Snowy Mountains.. oh and that time the rear end fell off. It was running sweet then too! It was also running sweet the day that the fuel was pouring out of the tank into the bottom fairing but sadly I didn’t notice the sweetness as I was dead scared I would catch on fire. So it has been as good as motorcycling gets, but value for time on bike my old R1 was better  Even the 1098 was better… actually my wife’s old clapped out ZZr250 was better.

i have heard the 1198r/1198s is quicker around a track and pretty sure the 0-100 times too.

don't quote me on it though.
