For someone who is against Wikileaks for no logical reason, you have some interesting views.

LOL you've got no idea. Your opinion of the war is more damaging to your reputation than viewing information that has been made available in the newspapers.

i dont care what religion or race people are, i just hate people who use the racism or ignorance card everytime they do something to piss someone off and only talk to people of their own race/religion and only shop at shops that are for their race/religion and will treat someone else better because they are the same race/religion.

I was eating at a bakery in caulfield in melbourne, suburb notorious for being populated by jewish people cause theyre all loaded, this bakery does really well much better then the one across the road, not because the food is better, but because the owners are jewish and the owners accross the road are asian. and this girl next to me was doing a job interveiw and as soon as she mentioned she was jewish the interveiwer closed her note taking book and smiled and said she had the job.

Its a two way street, if someone got a job just because they were white compared to someone who was black or of different faith then there would be a massive lawsuit, but because white people invaded all these countries back in the day and such they have to cop it on the chin and the lawsuits to match.

An aboriginals should take a leaf out of maoris book and move the f**k on.

this is what i hate.

I wouldn't walk into an indian/chinese restaurant and expect to land a job. There's racism and then there's your cultural fit. And pfft lawsuit. When was the last time that happened? (apart from the hobbit tryout thing lol)

Apparently he was angry because the customers wanted bacon on their burger, so they filmed him which aggravated him even more. I think muslims believe that bacon is in fact Jew meat, so they won't eat it unless they have no other choice.

IMO the dude is just a gronk with a temper but it has turned into quite a religious and race debate on youtube.

First, were does this idea of asking for bacon coming from?? also why would she film if they didn't have bacon? See something missing here? I do:rolleyes: He is stupid anyway even if filming is a dick move he's attitude just fuels racists and anti-muslims....but there is something missing here.

About Pork, Moses was the first for God to instruct him to tell tell His people about food, they could not eat animals that A-eat other animals and B- animals that did not have a divided hoof/animal feet. In those days pigs were not in captivity and they ate other animals so it was a big no no for the people of Isreal.

Well the story goes that they wanted a zinger burger with bacon. He was probably the one behind the till and when he got irritated about them asking for it/questioning why it wasn't served his manager probably took over for him and told him to scoop chips, that's how it looks to me. Pretty f**ked seeing some of the racist comments there on youtube but anyone that acts like that deserves to be shamed, not that I don't find it funny. Do you think they went in there knowing it was a halal store?

Bit more info on it here.

i dont have a doubt in my mind they went in looking for trouble, they knew the place was halal, they deliberately stirred him up, and they had the camera ready to catch his reaction just so they could get some views on youtube.

question is, if someone provoked you, especially on a sensitive subject that is a muslim's religion, would u keep ur mouth shut?

you cant compare ur average joe's christian beliefs with a muslims belief as christians simply dont value their religion like a muslim's. islam in general plays a much stronger part in muslims lives, then christianity in a "christian's" life. i don't think you can debate that, there's a tonne of study's around which show this, think about how little amount of people actually go to church regularly, but still tick "christian" on their census paper.

maybe your religion isnt as important to you that when someone gives you shit about it, you arc up, but think about if your religion was as sensitive of an issue as say a disabled brother or something, and someone came up to you and said your brother was a retard and should have been drowned at birth?

whether or not they should be that sensitive about their religion isn't really something you can critisize, it just it, it's a personal thing, just like you might be sensitive about something you believe in or is part of your life.

Dark Bringer, excellent posts. One of the more educated members on here.

I was speaking to a dude a while ago who moved to Iran in the 1970's and lived there 10 years. Had a lot of stories, but apprently Iran back then was one of the technological driven nations. Their currency was superior to most other nations and people from all over the world moved there to work due to their flourishing economy. It's a shame Saddam Hussein screwed it up.

I don't like islam, it's not an irrational hatred, I don't like it for a number of reasons. And really, what's so bad about being against a religion, in this case, islam. I don't hate, I just don't agree with it, and don't want to see something I'm against gaining power. People are so afraid of saying they don't agree with X minority for fear of being called racist or intolerant, but you know it's okay to dislike someone's religion, and frankly it's ok to hate someone's culture, because some cultures are f**ked up. Western society is wimping out, the people are so afraid of offending others, that they never stand up for their own beliefs, or when they do, some moral-elitist do-gooder screams racism.

*edit*

I guess I should mention, one of my good mates is from Bangladesh, he's muslim, not the most adherant of followers but he still fasts and does most things expected of him, we're had pretty long discusions about what I think, always civil, and polite. That's what I want from people, people can disagree and not hate each other. Disagree and discuss.

Thankyou kindly for your appreciation. A lot of people like to hate me but I usually tell it straight. And yeh I am educated more than most people on here too. (I'm not bragging, it's just a fact). It's what I live for in this world. I strive to know all and read sooooo much!! I used to read even more but life with responsibilities and full-time work and having a family takes a fair chunk of that time away. But I compiled a list of ten books I intend to read and obtain over the next year or two, mostly to do with USA regime change, CIA operations and Special Forces as this is what always interests me. Espionage and Intelligence, true story's of war and conflicts. And if i ever come across something I'm unfamiliar with or want to know more about to enhance the story, I will definitely look it up on google and source info either from Wikipedia or political journalism essays or stuff like that. I try to look at both sides of the argument to understand the entire issue. I know some people can be naive and look at one side of the story. It's true everyone tends to "take a side" which I'm not ashamed to admit to doing myself on occasion, but I'm a man of FACTS. I like to "correct" people on topics I know thoroughly about. I just don't like people going out there thinking things are the way they have read or listened to and think it's fact and spread it around when it is wrong. I have learnt to bite my tongue a fair bit though and just give up as I have done of late. Now i tend to just ramble about topics I enjoy when relevant.

quoted to appreciate the irony of these 2 idiots getting all excited by their own ineptitude. 'it's a shame saddam hussein screwed up iran' whack.gif and before you go trying to cover your ass, your comment had nothing to do with saddam's invasion of iran. read a proper history book boys, travel the world. maybe you'll learn something...? or maybe not. try some research on the c.i.a and gough whitlam. your own country was usurped by americans long ago. are you going to claim that you knew that? unsure.gif

served your country????? by doing what? i haven't paid taxes in 3 years. i'm a marxist-socialist currently living in the capitalist dictatorship that is china. like i give a f**k about your "service"

who put saddam in power? who ousted the shah of iran? who ousted gough?

"The Iraqi's were pissed America put in an Iraqi whom had been living in the US for the last 20-30yrs as the first Prime Minister, and so thus began the Insurgency against America and the Shi'ites, whom, after being violently suppressed for many years under Saddam Hussein's BAATH PARTY and his Sunni minority (that's right they were the minority the whole time!!)"

do you stand by this bullshit statement? cos it is complete hogwash. the insurgency had nothing to do with al-malaki being put in charge. do some research on maqtada al-sadr and you'll find out the origins of the uprising. you sound like someone who overheard their dad talking at the dinner table and repeated it verbatim. guess what? daddy is clueless.

" Yes Australia has always opened it's door for the US too train and put bases here etc, which will come back to bite us in the future I'm sure of it, but for now it's not hurting!"

tell that to the families of the australians who've died in the wars......you're so naive. in nov of 2006 the cost of the "war on terror" was over $20 billion. your right it's not hurting us at all.

Shit like this makes me avoid taking interest in world history. Two purported experts never seem to agree on the facts, pretty shitty grounds for an argument when every book/documentary/source tells a different story. Or maybe I only ever seem to witness arguments involving a moron, not sure.

As a pacifist I still take your side Eski.

this is what i fear about Australia. we are becoming so sensitive about everything. seriously fk islam and guess what i have the right to say that. it's not racist because islam isn't a race. why the hate, because the culture is the exact fking opposite of western culture. democracy, TRUE freedom of speech, equal rights for men/women, separation of religion and state, right to a fair trail. the list goes on but these key points aren't around in islam nations.

if we as Australians cant stand up for what we believe in and tell some extreme minority their views aren't welcome to the rest of society, we are screwed. i don't want to see sharia law anywhere near australia. i don't want to be called "islamophobic" because i find the religion that is a direct attack on my way of life. however since i actually support democracy i can't kill or deport people i disagree with; i just have to get others to support my beliefs and block changes away from western culture. Australians just need to stand up against extremism because if you actually believe in freedom, NO RELIGION is too important to protect. burning the quran or drawing a picture of muhammad should be seen as a waste of time not met with violent riots and murder. neither should it been seen as racism because its not yet a lot of people still fail to understand this. this applies to Christianity etc however as much as i dislike Christianity as well, burning the bible or mocking jesus won't get me killed just ignored. which is what true civil people do.

you either believe in freedom of speech or you don't. there's no middle ground. what saddens me is that Australians are no where near protective enough of it to a point where we might actually loose it. we fought two world wars over fascism who knew it would only take one book to do more damage then both of them.
