5 Reasons The CIA Should Have Already Killed Julian Assange

Recommended Posts

1) Julian Assange aided the Taliban and risked the lives of Afghans who helped American forces

2) Killing Julian Assange would send a message

3) You can't run a government without secrets

4) Releasing the information to the world is even worse than giving it to a single foreign government

5) We need to regain the confidence of our allies who've been burned by these leaks

wow! the conservative think tanks obviously have an answer to everything...

too bad its all f**king bulls**t... the US seriously needs to get off its high horse and lose the arrogance... Governments should have nothing to hide and should fear the people... It was on the onus of the US government to protect those documents, videos and top secret information... they obviously failed in that job and exploited the situation... also like other countries aren't guilty of it... its called espionage and it can be a bitch sometimes... If anything I believe the US is the biggest double standard I have ever seen...

""I think that Julian Assinage’s Wikileaks is one of two things:

A well funded soviet KGB project to cause America to crumble and weaken so that the socialists and marxists have further influence to call for a restructuring of our Government and further detraction of the Constitution. If this is the case, it is likely being directed by the global elites such as David Rockefeller and the Rothschilds who control Russia.

Or;

A well funded CIA effort by the global elites to be declared a threat to security and be used as a justification to impose further police state restrictions laws and Orwellian controls on the American Citizenry.

There is also a further possibility (a synthesis of the above) that the same globalists who control the KGB and the CIA are privately funding the Wikileaks effort, but why would they waste their own funds when they make us pay for our own destruction and enslavement?

In either case the persons directing this would be the globalist elites such as Georgie Soros, David Rockefeller and the Rothschilds to merge us into their new world order of tyranny and death. There’s just no way some lone guy from Australia was able to compile tens of thousands of secret coded communiques from every branch of government and our military. Also is it just a coincidence that Wikileaks has documents on various countries but only releases the American documents?

This is a timed attack on America to cause a reaction. Watch for the reaction to it to lead us toward the nwo.""

Someone get the tinfoil hats!

Julian Assange is my hero.

wikileaks has been the best thing that has come out of the internet in ages. finally giving dodgy governments and organizations a reason to follow the laws.

the current mass media is gutless and run by conflicting interests. wikileaks has finally brought some truth back into the press.

This.

No idea why some people think he should be killed.

If the US government organised him to be killed or jailed for life etc, that would just prove that they are corrupt as f**k and he has called them out.

Good on him and the people working with him.

He's never released anything thats really changed the politics of whats been going on, military or otherwise.

what he has done is inform a LOT of people who dont need to know secrets and have no use for knowing them see classified info, which is pretty pointless. But there's also a percentage of people who now have that information and can use it to cause far more damage than the info remaining secret ever would have.

I think all these liberal hippies need to wake up. Some stuff needs to be kept secret. it doesnt affect 99% of us in any way and if it was public domain it wouldnt matter to anybody. Its the 1% it needs to be kept from who stay quiet about it all

Really. you look at the latest release of diplomatic stuff. IMO the stuff thats been published does nothing positive at all and its not changing anything for all the arts students who blog about civil rights on their macbooks while drinking a soy latte... (they seem to be the ones who think assange is a champ)

ooh Wow america's made perfectly legal diplomatic requests for some countries to stop missile parts being sent to iran. Oh gosh half the arab world wants the US to blow up iran but it isnt. Crikey! a diplomat said foreign leader was 'a weak man' behind his back. It doesnt help anybody.

he definitely a brave dude. interpol have put him on their "red list" for those alleged rapes in sweden.

i read an article today, in the new rolling stone about the software being used by wikileaks. https://www.torproject.org/download/download allows complete anonymity when browsing, emailing etc. apparently it was somewhat funded by the cia (regretting that now) & google.

and rape is coincidentally the hardest charge to prove or disprove and even ruins his character without even being found guilty.

so the fact the US government hide the fact that over 100,000 iraq civilans have died because of the war is just something minor? or that private security corporations broke countless laws over in iraq or solid evidence that iran has been funding terrorism in iraq?

not only did he release vital documents on both wars, all records were censored with protect the names of individuals. the reasons for the war in iraq were a lie and the government needed to be vastly more open about military operations over there.

For the last 9 years, the US government has been using terror as an excuse to spy and lie its way around laws and now there's finally a organization willing to help protect people with information they think the world should know. I find it hugely ironic that the US government demands privacy yet has been caught spying on other allies and vastly expanded the laws for warrant-less searches on its own population. all in the name for "the greater good"

the war in terror is an easy mask to hide behind because it requires little explanation. that is the problem, governments need to be open and transparent to stop corruption and unlawful actions.

the next release is going to be about US banks, i wonder if you ll be so critical then.

FYI im a hardcore right winger (libertarian not authoritarian) so keep your stereotypical bullshit out of a serious discussion.

interesting information.

There's a fantastic documentary about this called The Most Dangerous Man In America

Nixon actually shut down any newspaper that printed the papers, including the New York times. Most kids these days don't remember a time when it wasn't unheard of for news outlets to get taken out for printing something that the government didn't like.

Also, since the papers were top secret, a brave congressman found a loophole to avoid the lawsuits. Mike Gravel actually released the papers by reading them out loud during a filibuster, thereby entering them into public record.

Thankfully the New York Times won a court ruling that established the right of the press to print anything, regardless of what the president orders. This landmark ruling pretty much cemented journalism as a protected outlet.

This was great, until the industry that runs the government realized they could fix this ruling by simply buying all the news outlets. Hence, everyone on television calling for the heads of the Wikileaks "terrorists"

Yea I used to use tor a bit.. It's just so god dam slow though..

I think what Julian has done is very brave.. f**k conflicts of interest, there shouldn't be anything worth hiding, f**k all this secrecy, I'm not a Hippie, but I don't see we can't all just get along. Bringing everyone's skeletons out of the closet is one way of doing that.. I hope he absolutely rapes the banks with his next leak.. It will also be interesting to see what will happen with that insurance file that has been floating around. It's either nothing, or something very major, that would result in him being harmed/taken away if it were to be released it seems.

The difference in opinions is the interesting bit.

Some people think that the govt should have no secrets from the people it serves, whilst others understand that governments have secrets to protect the masses of idiots.....
