I love the expression captured of the grooms right after the bride put a ring on his finger. Just priceless!!!

You do seem to capture expressions quite well..

Never ceases to amaze me how much detail/work goes into their attire.

How often do you do these weddings? it's like every other week you have fresh great photos of these events.

have done 5 or so weddings with sunsets like that... one was on the beach and every 15 mins it just got better!!!

:D

135L helps... but you still have to point it in the right direction...

Oh sorry misread it.

Yea I like the palm tree one as well. Might print it as a canvas and put it somewhere in the house.

A random from Saturdays wedding. Haven't gone thru all the pics but posted this teaser one up for them Sunday morning before my early start to another full wedding day:

I did a few proper silhouettes for them, but I like this lighter version as it shows off the dress nicely.

Random from yesterdays wedding

Love Indian weddings.. Always filled with colour, lots of dancing, different rituals etc.

So many on lookers not knowing what the hell was going on lol.

Been an extremely busy month and haven't posted anything lately.

Photographed 5 weddings in the past 3 weeks!!!

Just some randoms and teasers from the days:

One of the biggest challenges I have found with weddings is turning a boring location into something usable. Basically just weeds and grass growing in this park but still looks nice.

Do you usual tight close up smiley/lovey shots.. but then the bigger landscape shots.. what do you do? Just find an interesting angle that you wouldn't normally think off.

So I got this shot below.. Makes weeds looks sexy lol

Sometimes just taking a simple pic in the middle of the photo can be effective:

Love taking Mehendi shots:

Sometimes you gonna come across videographers who use flood lights. Nothing you can do about it:

IMG_9654_resize.jpg

Biggest example was when I shot a wedding in India: http://sidd-rishi.com.au/blog/2/overseas/highlights-from-my-cousins-wedding/

Tho I do find that sometimes it can help, but just hate the colour cast you get.

If you dont get in there you will miss out on lots of key shots.

Basically the brides side of the family demanding money for his shoes. Gets pretty funny :) Oh and check out the video guy in the back nearly falling over lol.
