Low pro trolley jacks

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.

Looking for a low profile trolley jack.

I bought a couple cheapy trolley jacks which for 1, can't get under the rails even before lowering and don't even jack high enough to get stands under the car ffs!

So, what low trolley jacks are there?

I know there's snap on and such but they're all around $800.

Not wanting to spend over $500.

I seen some at autobahn for sale, supacheap might have them too

Or you can buy those triangle things you put infront of the front tyres and drive over it, lifting the front end up easily, so you can a; work on the car or b; get a jack under it

use ramps to get the car high enough, then use any size jack.

PM warwick on here, he will make you some ramps from hardwood - they're the shit.

+1

if its an inch or two your looking for just get the wheels on a plank of wood on each of the front tyres... it will up ride height about an inch from the ground... can then squeeze a jack in... don't even need a ramp...

i got a bluepoint snap on jack the old school heavy one that is crazy low.. for like 480 or something has plastic wheels and rolls soooooooooo easy....

the selling point for me is there totally reconable...... evrything you can replace for cheap...

only downside is it take two people to lift in the car its sooooooo heavy......

+1 Omega.

I've used heaps of different trolley jacks in wrecking and this one is very, very good considering the price.

Trade Tools - $278

As high as any normal trolley jack really, nothing super like them High Lift's.. Its more than enough for the basic use of a Jack.. Ive rarely needed a high lift unless its a stock car like a Holden where 3/4 of the jacking process is wasted cause the suspension is sagging and the wheels are still on the ground then a High Lift is highly required.
