I've seen the 'Spalding Pneumatic Suspension' on a bash car. They claimed it made a noticible positive difference.

Could be anything. Doesn't look Japanese, though.

 

I did once see an apprentice mechanic's VL Calais discs look like that. After it was pointed out, the moron was still driving around with his brakes like that for a few weeks after that.

Mechanic showed me a Volvo wagon (says it all) where the left hand rear pad had be dragging and wore the rotor down that much that it parted off from the hub section :S

Wasn't a silver Volvo wagon around the manly area in Sydney?...not mine yet a customer of mine said his brakes were noisy....disc was paper thin at that time,he was going to get them fixed elsewhere.

The concept sounds pretty logical according the the wog guy

 

Sad thing is it probs makes less power compared to a normal NA supra

Ide like to know how they are registered as a non turbo when it was imported as per their comments on the youtube page. I would have thought that it was either an sz or an rz and the engine type would be stamped into the VIN plate?
