SOLD!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

SOLD!

I'm new to the forums i'm building a 1989 S13 Silvia (Ca18det) I SWAPPED my Stock 1989 180sx (Ca18det)

The S13 is being rebuilt and resprayed, Ive Been abit busy with work and have a few pics of the engine bay etc while it was taken out i have Clean the engine bay and removed all the wiring harnesses a few weeks ago, I'm receiving my block and head next Monday so i can start putting my ca18det together, i still have alot to go on car, im cleaning up alot of dodgy wiring as it had a Python alarm system that looked like some one hacked into with a chainsaw , I'm getting rid of the IAC and Vac box set up to eliminate all the unneeded vacuum lines and water lines, trying to keep it simple and make it look neat. The car is getting a full respray pearl white with black bonnet, engine bay with be sprayed MIRCA RED, I my self have only had the car a few months i purchased it off a bloke which he got it from the gold coast, they used it as a drift car but had rego,

Once i finish building it, i will keep it for 6-12 months then sell it, and get a R32 GTR.

hi do you no if you can take out the 4 butterflys out the inlet manfold on a ca

You can but its abit of a disadvantage they give u low end torque, If your going to be running a pretty big turbo and chasing top end power its okay but it effect's down low. Easiest way i'm keeping them hook them directly to your inlet manifold.

Sweet man, the build is coming together quickly. Who did you machine work and did you do the assembly work yourself?

I have the same set of gauges in my 180 :) Nice set, very easy to install like most defi/defi copies. The beep on startup is a bit annoying though...

Hopefully should be cutting out the stock front tubs this weekend, a family member has a plazma Cutter so it will make short work of it.
