Glynnsides rb24 180sx - Back to church duties

yeahh first lap. was wet and SO slippery. understeered straight into the wall. car hit boost and literally just went straight.

went straight into the pits and took front bar off.

 

Car has way too much power for the wet. but as soon as it started to get dry was much easier. spun every single lap though.

that other laurel sounded spastic too. he bashed limiter down the straight in like 4/5th every time, the whole way from the corner until he slowed down for T1

Weren't you buying the cef shell and building a street car? Or did that idea die?

Hollands (wpnx7) is building the shell into a streeter. My plan was always to buy the ceff purely for the engine to go into the 180

 

And its just a mate building it for me. I will help out where possible but as hollands said im not good when it comes to spanner spinning.

It was indeed. Original plans fell through as to where it was being built and I dont have room to store the shell nor did hollands. However he has found a place ti store it and is buying it again

I knew nothing about cars two years ago. Learnt heaps since.

 

Anyone put an rb20 with a 25 box in a 180? What did you do about the tailshaft?

He did a mates ca18 into his ke55. just bolt box and diff in, measure it up and he'll make a shaft to that length with what ever yokes you want. Done.
