Yeah pulling the box out 2morow morn at sams. Piss easy with a hoist. I recon it might be some of the bearings in the belt housing aswell. If I can rip it all out early I can head to cbc and get what I need.
And yeah the knuckles you guys did for me have been perfect for years now. Plenty of lock but no too twitchy like most of the "drift knuckles". I like to use my car for not JUST drift.
yeah it gags for a skid
chris we need to go to the hills, again when my car is done
Yeah why not!!!
Point Cook hills?
POINT COOK DOESN'T HAVE f**kIN HILLS!
east hills ftw.
laverton swan drive hills
Lol ain't nothin hilly about any spots in lavo haha
You just have to lean back in your seats a bit thats all.
Well car is pretty much dailed in and ready for G1 this weekend.
Installed a new incooler water spray setup I made up.
Works a treat and only cost me $3.
i approve of dirty big old trust turbos
i would love to have something like this. road or track lol.
Both! I love still taking it out for a "spirited" drive on some of victoria's finest roads.
Took the old girls on a road trip to mallala on the weekend. Car was pretty bloody good , few weak spark issues still but nothing broke and had a killer of a time.
Such a fun track and I started to get into it after quilfying. Fast fun track. Will be heading back for sure.
Next I have to do to skatie is new frnt bar and lip and sort out my spark issues. Thinking of a msd dis-4plus setup.
also $3 water spary worked a treat in the hot SA sun.
never said where you placed in the comp , tried different gap sizing and spark ratings?
Yeah tryed heaps of different spark plugs now. Switched ingniters , coils , looms the lot.
Placed 31st in quilfy , I thought we only got 2 laps to quilfy so I did mine stright up. Then had another 20 mins of track time. Then I got used to the track and started getting into it. The harder you push the easyer that track is. Just dont push to hard or you WILL bend the car. The tyres were bakeing hard which was mint as.
Best days drift in a long time. No cock heads just good vibes.
new N1 vents?
and a sticker we all need!
Those battery stickers are great.
I love them
Have some new VCT cams on their way. "Finally" Ended up going with just some TYPE R poncams. I was going to run some stage 3 hks cams , but really didnt want to run soild lifters. So a nice mild setup was chosen. Which will probly be better off with down low toqure but just will not sound as sick.
I am keeping the VCT as I feel a HUGE difference down low. Will be interesting to see with big cams in tho.
Also have to pull the head off as I have a leaky head gasket , with milk shakes keep ending up in my radiator. Still runs fine and doesnt over head "yet" , but I did blow a heater hose the other day , mostly due to the added pressure in my radiator. The hoses feel very tight when at temp.
Once all fixxed I will retune the car and hopefully see what this T67 can do. I do miss my td06l2. The car was perfect with it.
Hopefully heading back to SA next month.
Yeh bout time u get a retune brudda!!! 300+ chuuuur
Post up the pic from our fishing trip haha
New cams showed up and are perfect!
Got some spitfire coils on the way now aswell.
Need to buy another set of ARP head studs as my old motor ended up at the tip with all the goodies still in it! "you cant get good help".
Still dont know what head gasket to get tho.
Fishing/drift photos are coming. lol
Front lip looks good now...wait you didnt use the one david fixed for you??? N1 vents look good
Your face is a cosworth HG
Nar got a spare one from freddy for next to nothing. Only its really REALLY thin. Not track worthy at all. Looks fine for the street tho.
Robbie and I out fishing and then drifting. Mint fun. Did get some stange looks from the local fishing people. lol
Well did a leak down test today and number 3 is leaking. So Time to pull the head off. Still gave it a good thrashing today untill it had a little fire. I now have a bit of cleaning to do along with pulling the head off. Car will be killer tho. Looking forward to new coils , full comp , and my cams in. Turn the boost up and see what happens.
