What's this no defect business, huh? And big fan of the cluster setup...

Don't quote me on it, but I'm pretty sure a car can't be defected if it's not in the state to which it's registered in, due to differing laws and such.

Pretty sure the po can fine you heavily though.

you can be defected anywhere at anytime in any state - unfortunately is your responsibility to ensure the car meets the guidelines in the state your driving.

I found that out the hard way.

That said most cops wont bother with a interstate regoed car from what ive seen as they just see more paperwork

Cheers dude. yeh drove it up to winton. I have to say (its the first drive ive done to winton since building it) the trip was comfortable lol. Going to spend some time setting up my coilovers correctly so that bump stop is setup so the wheels never bottom out again. Also my gas mileage in the car was great. I used 9ltrs of fuel per 135km! car running a microtech so props to Anthony from Maztech on the awesome tune!!

So its been awhile couldnt find this thread to update.

So. I sold the AME's as i wanted to go back to 17's, so i bought a pair of SSR Type C and had the full set powder coated Medium Bronze.

Wheel sizes are 17x9 +28 (running a 25mm bolt on) and 17x10.5 +15

The wheels looked good but not exactly how i envisioned my car looking.

375771_667297533295890_261137941_n.jpg

Tyre sizes were 235/40/17 - Toyo R1R, 255/40/17 Pirelli Eco someshit run flats. Stance wise its how it should be nice and flush no stretch practical with lots of tread.

So i we went to tassy and had a rad time driving around the state, roads down there are a driver entusiasts wet dream, so much fun.

But i had a vision of the wheels on which i wanted the car to have but them being $800 a wheel wasnt really a reality.......Fast forward 1 week and i found the wheels in the offsets i was thinking on yahoo auctions at half the price... :D

So i bought them. so the waiting game begins...
