Got to love that a well executed 180 from the 90s can still make a brand new car look boring as shit haha

Loving the new wheels dude

Haha, I always thought it looked like "Why axe it" (why end production of this dope 180sx)

Imagine if the 180sx was like the 911 and just kept evolving into something better with each release? :thumb:

So what happened to the old purple car? I'm guessing it was street carnage from the lack of discussion about it

As usual i cant help myself and was casually browsing yahoo auctions yesterday to kill some time (worst idea ever) and stumbled across this gem. Ive seen billys (zipties) car and she has one and they look pretty cool. Track car needed its gktech wheel throwing away. so im going to put my nardi (deep corn 360mm) in that.

330mm Nardi Orido Style wheel.

I always read your plates as 'tax it', as in 'try and tax me'. Makes absolutely no sense I know.

Decided id fix an issue im having atm where when i take a hard corner the car dips and rubs the tyre on the underside of the strut top (we've modified it as much as possible when we built the car so its flat (no longer a sharp edge like factory). But doing hills runs youd get a smell of burning rubber whenever you hit the corners. So. I purchased a new pair of 10kg HSD springs and put these in the front, and moved the 8kg springs to the rear.

The car now does not rub when cornering hard or sliding (had to test this out lol).

Also spent saturday changing the turbo manifold gasket as the studs/nuts had undone themselves and fell out  had 1 nut holding the turbo on. so new locking tabs, s15 gasket and cone nuts on and its now all back together again.

^ I think there's someone in NSW that produce copies of the GGrow rear lip, if you wanted to go more local.

I can't remember the shop name though

Cheers,

Andy
